Cava is like Chipotle for Greek food. You can get everything piled in a bowl or wrapped up in a pita. Similar to Chipotle, it’s all in how you pile in the sauces and dips. My advice for first timers? Cover everything in the Skhug sauce. It looks Shrek green and you might find it scary to look at, but the flavor of the garlic and herbs in the sauce go well on absolutely everything. First timer at any Cava location! Love at first bite! Actually it was probably when I was studying the menu. A "build your own bowl" type of restaurant, however I went with the Chicken + Rightrice. I changed the greens from arugula to spinach and chose the pepper hummus and harissa vinaigrette. I loved they have the option for a healthy grain, like right rice which is packed with protein. Wow this is my favorite new place, this definitely beats chipotle and fresh kitchen...sorry not sorry. Not only is this place clean and staff is friendly but the bowls are so good. You have the option of option your own but I ordered the chicken + right rice. Which has grilled chicken hummus, tomatoes + onion, cucumbers, arugula and more!! I highly recommend you giving them a try if you haven't. Specially if you want something fresh and healthy.
