“My wife and I love the food at Bernie's. The new owners are the nicest people. When they have something on the menu they know we like they will call and check to see if we want anything before they sell out. The food is so flavorful and of course always so fresh. Monica and Claudio (owners) always have time to chat with their customers which is nice with today's busy world.“

Maya Rosa BBQ Food Trucks • $
1644 N Ronald Reagan Blvd, Longwood - 8.64 miles

“The Nashville hot chicken sandwich is what I would describe as my taste buds , mind heart and soul traveling at warp speed with the destination being delicious town in a galaxy far far away. The spice was incredibly subtle for a spicy lightweight for me and the balance of the pickles plus coleslaw was like a beautiful crafted symphonic harmony. The service was solid and incredibly friendly.“

Kuko Christian food truck Latin American • $
7958 E Colonial Dr, Orlando

“I came across this food truck secret during my morning commute to work this week. Since I've been on this pursuit to seek and try every food truck in Orlando, I just had to stop by during my lunch break. If you're not looking for this truck specifically, it's easy to miss. Make sure you look for it parked in the corner of the Splash Car Wash. Kuko Christian, like many food trucks on Colonial/SR 50 serves Puerto Rican style cuisine. What differentiates this particular truck from all the others, is that they market themselves as Puerto Rican Barbeque. The main push is their pork kabobs (Pinchos al Pastor). But they also serve Puerto Rican BBQ hamburger, chicken and pork sandwiches. I had the pleasure of speaking with Javier while he cooked my order on the grill. He was very courteous, answered all my questions and was eager to push the food. He even invited me inside the truck to show me the cleanliness of his kitchen and how he prepared and cooked each order. Javier cooks fresh to order by slapping a generous dollop of BBQ sauce on my selection of pork kabob and hamburger. The aromas coming from that grill had me anxious with anticipation. Then the moment of truth, a generous helping of tender bbq pork on a stick, crowned by a slice of cuban bread. WHAT!? Next on the docket, a bbq hamburger with lettuce, tomato, mayo, ketchup and toritilla strips coddled between fresh cuban bread. I washed it all down with an ice cold can of Kola Champagne. Righteous.“
