(Previously the Donut Patch, now Oviedo City Cafe) Best breakfast sandwich I've ever had! Fresh bagels, fresh donuts, specialty coffees, and it's so lovely inside!! Friendly & personal service - the family who owns it now really took great care in making it a beautiful space. Definitely going to be part of our regular rotation!

It was a long morning with the 2 little ones, and it was just 10am (iykyk) so I decided to grab breakfast and coffee to go on the way to the playground. I wanted to try something local instead of Starbucks, and I'm so glad I did. The bagel was not store-bought, but rather, it appeared to be made fresh.
Even more outstanding was the friendliness of the staff. The cashier talked to me about kids and advised me on donut choices. The wait was short. And the chef brought three food to the table.
After setting up my toddler to eat, I took one bite of my breakfast, when my 5-month old smacked the bagel right out of my hand, and it splattered all over the floor. I started hurrying to clean up and leave, figuring it's the fate of a mom, and giving up on having breakfast, as long as the kids are fed. The chef popped up out of nowhere and asked what's wrong. I told him what happened, but I'll clean and leave. He hurried to the kitchen and made me a new one!! It brought tears to my tired eyes, to be treated so kindly, and to see the lost art of good customer service.
I'll definitely eat here again when in the area!

I stopped in with my partner so she could get some work done and was honestly floored by the donuts. They were plump with a great texture and taste to them. Definitely more of a desert in my book but this place has it figured out. I got some basic ones to go (pictured) and regretted not getting something more fancy. That said, the simple glazed was still fairly fresh a couple days later when I finally finished the last bit off.
