We love Whispering Oaks! We have never had a bad experience there. The food is always amazing! We like to go when Dale Stumbo is playing. He has a great voice, the best playlist and is very entertaining with his stories. The wine is fabulous! I never leave without buying more to bring home.
We have been to the winery several times and love the atmosphere. Unfortunately the food the last two times is not worth the price. Baked potatoes were hard and brown, mixed vegetables overcooked, steak dry and salmon too salty. We were really sad because this has become a special occasion place for us and I think we will rethink the decision next time.
A very quaint and interesting location. However, the flies in the outdoor eating area were relentless. Thankfully, the staff immediately moved us inside at our request. We have been eating here for a few years. Unfortunately the steaks were not quite as good as we originally experienced. Thinner, fattier and less consumable meat on the ribeyes. Though, what we did have was very tasty. Wine is great!
