“Shaved ice is such a must during the really hot months of summer and in South Florida does months last way longer than others-- and some may argue longer than they need to- but great news: Pahokee O's is a great solution for staying cool and enjoying a nice treat! I first heard about this shop from a friend and during my trip to western Palm Beach, I had to make a stop to Pahokee and try them out! If you're not familiar with the area, it is right when you turn onto Bacom Point Rd on your right- typically there's street parking so parking shouldn't be an issue. Once you enter, you're greeted by the summery decor and smiling faces ready to share the various flavors of shaved ice, ice cream and any other snacks that you might think of. I had one of the best burgers and prepared just as I requested. There is no doubt that I selected the Tiger's Blood flavoring and it was perfect. Just what I needed to cool down before getting ready to head back out for the day. Definitely plan to return and to visit again. I love seeing them at local events as well- so if you're looking they'd be perfect for your outdoor events.”

“Love this place! Every trip to SouthFlorida, we go out of our way to pick up a bucket of catfish filets to take home. We order ahead by phone, give them a time we'll get there and it's always been ready. Prices have gone up a little bit that's to be expected in these Biden-esque times. As long as their quality continues at a high level, we'll never complain about small cost increases! Definitely worth the stop next time you're near...”

“Best flavor enchiladas I've had. It was unique that it wasn't smothered in chesse n sauce. My first bite made me say WOW! The seasoning was baked in the soft tortilla filled with chicken and cheese served under lettuce, tomatoes and crumbled cheese.It looks like a convenient store with no signage. The service was top notch and the food was delicious. Carmen had the brightest smile i've seen in a while. Even almost at closing time.”

“It was truly an incredible experience having been in this restaurant. My partner and I were looking for somewhere to eat and we passed by several places that we didn't like how they looked. As soon as we entered here the place looked very nice and the girls are very nice. The food is amazing and the designs of the dishes are very pretty. The prices were very good, we ordered several dishes and it was quite cheap. I loved it and I plan to return very soon.”

“Peking place it is such great restaurant and I recommend for some of you guys here in belle glade that have not went there go and check them out. I recommend the beef vegetable combo platter and the orange chicken with the chicken fried rice platter and the lemon mix with tea with is delicious. “We stopped here for lunch while on a road trip. We were on motorcycles, so we sat at the table out front under a canopy. We did have to wait for another group to finish before we could sit down, but this place seems aimed more for takeout, so having somewhere shady to sit/stand was appreciated.I ordered two carnitas tacos, which came with lettuce, tomato, onion, and cilantro. They were excellent! The meat was flavorful and juicy and the veggies were fresh. The whole group loved their meals and we’d happily come back if we find ourselves in the area again.Dietary restrictions: The tacos are dairy free unless you specifically ask for cheese.Parking: There’s no marked parking spots, you can park on the pavement or grass around the building.”

“My dad and I visited this place. The service was very friendly, the ambiance was clean and inviting. The menu is simple but done right. I ordered the meatloaf with collards, green beans and Mac and cheese. It was so delicious. The veggies were on point. Mac and cheese had a nice cheese pull it was so good it’s a must order. The meat loaf tastes so good the best I’ve had in a long time. Dad order the ribs, mashed potatoes with gravy, and yams. Yes, I had to try his potatoes and yams :) I’m so glad I did! The gravy was delicious (homemade) and the yams were sweetened to perfection. I highly recommend this place if you are in a mood for good home cooking. Would love to see brisket on the menu. ;)”

“We stopped in for a late afternoon ice cream treat because it’s my husbands birthday. Just passing through town and found Las Delicias Snacks! This place is true gem. The homemade ice cream is absolutely amazing as well as the churros ! We each had a churro sundae. If happiness is a decadent ice cream I have found it here !We drove 2 miles in the opposite direction of our travel to get an ice cream and were extremely delighted with how great this place was. HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you’re anywhere in the area!”

Always a pleasure eating here, if you haven’t visited yet, I don’t know what you waiting for. The grits are creamy and hot like grandma made them. Chicken hot, crispy and battered to perfection (not too much and not too little), eggs softly scrambled and lightly seasoned. All the servers are attentive. The decor is a modern yet rustic design, all the fixtures aren’t over the top and the music gives you a relaxed cookout feel. They are open from 7am-3pm serving breakfast and lunch! An impressive rebranding for a hometown classic and favorite.”
