I tried the cowfoot here for the first time it was awesome, and you get good value for your money, overall great service 👍🏽

Location is ok,staff is ok,not enough space for customers inside in line,seats are not arranged neatly.Only the female washroom works. The door of the male washroom is completely off the hinge and leaned up against the wall - unsightly.
Bakery is very good.
Oxtail and steam snapper fish dinners were extremely peppered,the food just off the stove provided an inferno-like feeling in the stomach,was hurting for a whole week

We stopped in on a ride and were pleasantly surprised.
The choice of meals was varied and very good I had a jerk chicken and it was very good.
The wings are good but be careful because the BBQ sauce can make the dish a little sickening.
The quantities are very generous.
Be careful if you come in a large group, there are not many seats

The food was absolutely terrible. The rice was extremely dry. The oxtail barely had any meat on their bones. The curry chicken was dry and honestly I couldn’t tell if I got breast or thighs because of how clumped it came. The only good thing is the beef patties. Sadly I recommend this place to my friends.. never again! Save your money and eat somewhere else.

Dietary restrictions: If you like dry food that will eat up most of your money then this place is definitely for you.

Omg their patties are soooooo good. Literally melt in your mouth. They also have different flavors. I saw jerk chicken, fish, and of course beef patties. They used to have curry chicken patties but I didn’t see any but whenever I’m in the area I got to have some patties from them! Totally different than the the North east Jamaican patties.

Large jerk chicken was great with some beef patties. Absolutely good. Recommend that plate for sure. As far as sides we opted for dumplings and veggies instead of rice great balance to flavor.

A small place with a dedicated community. When we arrived we were the only customers but that quickly changed once Church let out and the regulars showed up. It’s clear these people eat here often as there were big smiles and warm hellos.

The staff were very welcoming and friendly. They were happy to highlight their mostly vegetarian/pescatarian (see vegetarian explanation below) friendly foods. The patties were just as I had hoped and the fried dough dumplings were superb. We really enjoyed the side dishes (I don’t know the name of the yellow dish but it is made with Salt Fish so not fully vegetarian but good nonetheless).

My husband had the mildly spicy Jerk Chicken patty and really enjoyed it. I had the vegetable patty and it was delicious. We shared the sides and thoroughly enjoyed them.

This place is designed to mostly accommodate take out but they do have a couple of tables for dining in which is what we did. Definitely recommend this place to any local and travelers passing through. 🤗

Vegetarian options: They have vegetable patties and spinach patties which are vegetarian but the buffet veggies are made with Salt Fish so if you are also abstaining from seafood then those are technically vegetarian. The steamed veggies weren’t made with Salt Fish though and were really good and filling. The bread dumplings are also vegetarian and are good with the steamed vegetables. Overall for the typical vegetarian, this place has enough food to get you full.

Sadly, nothing was vegan.

Oxtails are always perfectly cooked nice and tender and you have to add the gravy on the rice and peas simply the best Jamaican food around always very pleased

Ordered jerk chicken meal. Which is rice chicken cabbage. Asked for the rice to be put in separate container so I could give to my kid, and said it just like that. The young man started shaking his head with attitude and went to get the manager/owner.
Is it that big of a deal? I should have left right then. People that act miserable in their customer service positions should find new jobs. They are only hunting the business in my opinion. I would rather make my own chicken at home then bring my business and pay for someone to be shaking head at me with that lazy attitude. "Omg he just asked for another container." I won't be back.
