EVO Catering & Laura are just absolutely amazing! I came to her fairly last minute for my 40th birthday party, and she was extremely accommodating! She executed my vision perfectly, and made such wonderful food! Everyone raved about the delish options and just couldn't enjoy enough! I had a Kentucky Derby Party, so I asked for more southern foods. We had Shrimp & Grits, Chicken Skewers in Alabama White Sauce (which is divine & my husband LOVED), pulled pork sliders, & waffle battered wings that had a beautiful sweet and hot sauce on them). Everyone loved everything! Also, her setup was meticulous! She took the time to make everything perfect, and I'm just so thankful for that! I did not have to do any setup, and she made sure that everything was just so! I totally forgot to get pics because I was so busy entertaining & enjoying! Hire her y'all!

We ordered 3 items from the menu. The herb roasted haddock was to die for. However the broccoli was still very firm (hard). The caribbean j*** shrimp were very tasty. However, 6 shrimp and a cup of rice for $19.00 is a bit much. Last, the meatball baked ziti was on point. Thank you for 3 great meals. We will be returning for more.Michael & Jill

Evo Catering is awesome! After more than 30 years of cooking for my family, I was over it. Some people liked this, some people liked that, and one person constantly complained about anything and everything. The stress of meal planning, going through multiple stores to find all of the ingredients, and the current high prices, led us to explore options. We tried HelloFresh, but the meals took a long time to prepare. We tried WeightWatchers, but they had huge frozen cooler containers that seemed horrible for the environment. One day I searched personal chefs. Laura's company came up and I thought we wouldn't be able to afford it, until I researched her menu and compared the prices with how much we spend at the grocery store and fast food. It was clear that Laura's meals were going to be cheaper per meal. Now the tough part--would my family like it? The first week, I didn't tell my family, I ordered for them and day by day they said they loved it. The next week, I gave them a few choices from her menu and let them pick. They loved it again. The next week, we read through every menu item, and they picked for themselves. We have more quality time since we don't waste hours during the week in multiple grocery stores. We can also spend more time at the table, since preparation of Laura's meals comes down to a few minutes per meal. This has been a great way to outsource the main meals while still eating healthy. I plan on giving their gift cards for everyone local on my list this year. Don't just think catering, think Kitchen Saviors!! Love them!!

Evo Catering did our wedding buffet in April 2022. Laura and her team were highly professional, extremely flexible, and amazingly talented. We received nonstop praise about the food and would highly recommend to anyone!Pre-Wedding Consultation: We had trouble with our menu, as our families really wanted a more cultural menu but we wanted something more suited to our tastes. Knowing this challenge, Laura more than rose to the challenge - she met it head-on and created a menu that absolutely wowed us and our guests! In particular, the grouper she made was so good that we're pretty sure some family members may have actually snatched the leftover tray from us!Communication: I love Laura's communication. She addressed every single one of our concerns in a very timely and effective manner with little to no hassle. After we explained our highly family/cultural clash to her, as mentioned before, she was more than ready to step up to the challenge. She has expressed more than once that if she does not know how to do something, she will learn until she perfects it. And she proved that at our own wedding - she made falafel for the first time for us and we couldn't believe it was her first time!Taste: Every single item on our menu was heaped with praises. One thing that my mother pointed out that many brides may not necessarily think of: sometimes, when weddings run late (as mine did), food can get cold when it's sitting out waiting to be eaten or overcooked. Not Laura's food. By the time we sat down to eat, everything was still piping hot, not overcooked, and absolutely delicious. She served the food at its very best!Freshness: Laura used the absolute freshest ingredients she could, and it showed. Everything was out of this world! In particular, my (very picky) mother praised her strawberries. In her words, Laura clearly cared a lot about the quality of her ingredients and grazing table fruits and veggies.Price: For the amount of food we got and the number of people, it was very, very reasonable.Flexibility: Laura's team aren't just buffet servers and meat carvers - I saw them also clearing plates from tables, taking orders from tables with elders, and even helping pass out champagne. They are more than worth the price of adding them to our package! Laura was also quick to accommodate changes to the menu on the fly - a HUGE boon to a stressed bride!Professionalism: Trust me when I say she knows what she's doing. She had the absolutely perfect buffet setup for our huge wedding guest list. Everyone got their food quickly and efficiently, and then got up for even more portions after that! On top of that, Laura even showed up to the reception venue the night before to make sure she knew what she needed the next day.Portions: Laura and her team fed my wedding of about 200 and we had more than enough leftovers once everything was over - even after multiple guests got up for seconds, thirds, and fourths! The fruit/pita/crudite grazing table was also constantly refilled throughout our event. None of my guests left hungry!Improvements: We had to really wrack our brains for this one. Our wedding day was honestly everything we ever dreamed of. The only thing we could honestly think of was we wish we knew where our grouper went at the end of our event. There's a chance that the grouper was left in the fridge at our venue, but none of us thought to look inside it as we were cleaning up. Perhaps if one of the team could have informed us (assuming they even put it in there), we could be eating our leftover grouper today! Then again, there's always the chance that someone was informed and simply forgot or that one especially hungry guest loved the grouper so much the tray got swiped without our knowing! Oh well! I hope that whoever has that grouper enjoys it as much as we did on our wedding day.Definitely speak with Evo Catering about doing your event. You won't regret it! I will definitely post pictures once I have them in. :)

Evo Catering did our wedding buffet in April 2022. We opted to do three hors d'oeuvres (lamb meatball canape, mini falafel pita, fruit/crudite/pita table), three entrees (garlic shrimp scampi, grouper florentine, carved chimichurri prime rib), and three sides (roasted asparagus, herb-roasted potatoes, and rice).
