Great place for neighborhood dining. Dinners are homemade and delicious. The mussels are excellent. The pasta dishes are also great. Looking forward to returning.

I’m a regular customer and have been happy with everything, but today on a pick up order I am very very disappointed with what I got once I got home and started to eat.
The burger was raw, asked for medium, the scrambled eggs had multiple shells in them, the description on simply done plate states breakfast potatoes, I received none, I also got bacon but never ordered it.
The last thing I want to do is now go back after driving home and we were ready to eat. Not a happy camper with mostly the entire order being in correct

Excellent choices on menu make it very worthwhile to keep going back. Besides the ability to make ordinary choices like chicken salad in to a great sandwich, they make bolognese in to a great choice as well. I believe the chef/owner also has created an environment for staff that makes them anxious to please and very quick to serve. I think the collective staff are the best group of any in the PBG area, period.
Amazing service and the food was outstanding! Portions are huge and very fresh ingredients. The staff was so calm and collected and worked great together during a huge rush of people that came in all at once. I would definitely come back!

This was our first time there for dinner. Food, service were great. Menu selections were fine. Our only issue was that the tables were too close to each other. We felt like we were sharing other peoples private space. Couldn't move chair back without hitting another tables chairs.
Great food, excellent service!

The coffee and soup were great for a cooler day in Florida. But the temperature in the restaurant was far too warm. Though it was cool outside, apparently the AC was off inside. Packed full with people in sweaters and jackets kept the air stuffy and uncomfortable.
Wisdom: never turn the AC off in Florida if you have many people to serve. When it drops to the 60's or below, the AC setting needs to go down, not up or certainly not off.

This is truly a neighborhood gem. How did it go from a bakery/cafe to a wonderful restaurant? The Spanish meatballs appetizer were the tastiest ever. The grilled salmon - usually a boring option - was cooked perfectly. Waitress was wonderful - but you could see she was serving way too many tables. Overall a terrific evening.
Ordered the quiche and it clearly had been nuked in the microwave because I couldn't even cut through the cheese, it was so overcooked. They comped it and let me choose something else off the menu at the same price but the breakfast sandwich I got was just okay. It wasn't a good food day there today. It's also too small for the volume of people that try to pack in there during lunch. They need to have people wait outside, if allowed by the complex, because funneling everyone into the back booth area by the bathrooms is too congested. It's probably fine for other people but for me, it's not a place to have a relaxing brunch or lunch - too crowded and noisy.
I will say the service is always attentive and good.

The food was delicious and the prices were reasonable. Our server was amazing. She knew the menu ingredients and was enthusiastic and very helpful. This was my first time eating dinner at Alaina's and it didn't disappoint. (Lunch is fabulous too.)
The food and service were amazing! They allowed us to modify our dishes and they all come out perfectly. This is our second time going for dinner and I would highly recommend
Follow-Up Review.
After writing an enthusiastic review following our first dinner at Alaina’s Café, my wife and I have since returned twice more for dinner—always with a bit of hesitation born of prior experience. Too often, restaurants that impress initially fail to maintain that standard on subsequent visits. I’m pleased to say Alaina’s is a welcome exception.
Dinners number two and three were every bit as outstanding as the first. The food remained consistently excellent—thoughtfully prepared, well-balanced, and clearly made with care. Service was attentive without being intrusive, and once again, Wesley, the general manager’s presence stood out: engaged, observant, and genuinely invested in the dining experience. That level of attentiveness is increasingly rare.
The vibe continues to be warm and comfortable—lively without being loud, relaxed without feeling casual. We already have another dinner reservation on the books and are very much looking forward to returning.
