Carmine's La Trattoria Restaurant

Second time there and both times our service was subpar. Our server was MIA most of the time. When he would come to our table it was usually with a bald head full of sweat. He seemed to be overwhelmed with tables. The 1 lb lobster dish we ordered only had a few pieces of lobster and was mostly spaghetti. Maybe it weighed one lb with the shell?? We were celebrating birthdays and he told us they didn't do anything special but could put a candle in whatever dessert we ordered from the menu. After we did that and received it (without candle) and started eating our dessert, he showed up with a complimentary dessert with a candle for the birthdays. What??!! He seemed like he didn't know what the hell he was doing half the time. Very frustrating!

Our Saturday evening dining experience was not perfect, as my wife's Margarita Pizza was burned on the bottom of the crust and had to be replaced. My supper choices were prepared expertly, were absolutely delicious, and served by an attentive (but, thankfully not to the point of becoming intrusive or obnoxious). In my opinion, the 25% tip was earned by a consummate professional waiter! I have always enjoyed our nights out at Carmine's La Trattora. And, although there was a hiccup that had to be rectified, it was handled by an experienced professional waiter, in a way that made our overall comfort level and satisfaction extremely gratifying. Life is full of surprises and challenges; and, it is important to minimize any negativity in such a way that the miscue is hardly noticed and doesn't become an unpleasant event.

The service was excellent. The bread they served us was very hard, like leftover. We also had the lobster appetizer and it tasted like salt water. The beef carpaccio was delicious. The Italian wedding soup was delicious everybody like their steaks. Two drinks were very sour. All in all it was a great experience. But they should not be serving hard bread, and salty lobster, for those prices.

The restaurant was very busy and very noisy. Service was awful. I've already called the restaurant and spoke to the manager about it.

Carmine's was wonderful as always. The menu has a great selection of food and wine? The service was excellent and very responsive. We had a great dinner, and got some needed essentials for home use at their gourmet market. We had a very enjoyable evening with friends.

This place is Top notch and always meets my expectations! Not to mention, they have one of the nicest markets that I've ever been in.

Beautiful place! My first time there. Visiting from NJ . The food was absolutely delicious! They have an Italian market, bakery, gift shop and more! One of my favorite places and can't wait to go back! ❤️

We went for a pizza and wine Saturday late lunch. The best! Toni was very attentive and prompt. Always a great meal at Carmine's.

My first visit and we loved it. The food was great the service excellent and the value surprisingly good. We had the course for two special and their private label wine.

Honestly, I found this restaurant to be pretty overrated. It was extremely busy, which made the whole experience feel rushed and crowded. The food was definitely not worth the high prices. For what you pay, you expect something a lot more special. Overall, not worth the hype. I wouldn’t go back.

Went here last night. Gorgeous outdoor seating. The food was also fantastic. I'll definitely come again when I am in town!

5 star !!! Had the Black grouper special . Wow the best I have ever had !!! The Caesar salad is very exceptional. A very wonderful and enjoyable time. A Great find!!!

Nice place with nice staff, but I got food poisoning the night I ate here. It's a really popular restaurant, but not somewhere I'd risk eating again.

The quality of food, exceptional service and atmosphere was outstanding. Definitely is a go to restaurant to eat, with friends and family.
