If you’re a true Keralite craving authentic Kerala food, I strongly recommend skipping this place. I took my parents here during their visit, and we were all extremely disappointed.
We ordered Masala Dosa, Kerala Beef Curry, naan, and paratha. Unfortunately, everything fell short:
• The masala dosa was hard and dry, possibly made with mix of rava too which made it inedible.
• The beef curry was overwhelmingly salty.
• The naan was cold and tasteless, nothing like what naan should be.
None of us enjoyed the food, and we won’t be returning.
That said, if you’re looking for a spot to grab drinks and chat with friends, it might serve that purpose. But if you’re going in with a South Indian appetite and expectations of traditional Kerala flavors, you’re likely to be just as disappointed as we were.

Absolutely love the food and drinks here. Each dish is so unique. The tuna bhelpuri is my favorite - sort of a like tuna tar tar but with an Indian twist to the recipe. And I love that the espresso martini comes with a little macaron garnish. Yum!
We ordered delivery and it was still as great as sitting in their restaurant.
Thank you for taking care of dinner for us

Ela curry kitchen is a standout Indian-inspired restaurant with incredible food, expertly crafted drinks & a warm, attentive staff that makes every visit feel special. The dishes are rich in flavor, beautifully presented & clearly made with care, while the cocktails complement the bold spices perfectly. The only confusing element is the music—on one visit it was country, on another something entirely different—which feels inconsistent with the otherwise strong brand identity & ambiance. A more cohesive music selection would elevate the experience even further, but overall, this spot delivers in all the right ways.

We have been waiting a long time for the opening of Ela. Well worth the wait!
Worst masala dosa ever unless you like it extremely sour.

Exceptional experience from start to finish. The ambiance was clean, welcoming and stylish- a lovely environment to enjoy a meal.
One of the highlights was the cocktail menu, which featured some truly unique and special options. Coupled with a thoughtfully curated wine list, it was clear that attention to detail was a priority.
We decided to indulge in the chef's choice tasting menu and it did not disappoint! As a vegetarian, I sometimes find dining out can be a challenge, but ELA exceeded my expectations. My husband, who is not vegetarian, and I were both catered to with exceptional care. Each dish was a delightful surprise, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The staff took the time to explain every dish in detail, enhancing our appreciation for the artistry behind the meal.
Overall, ELA provided a memorable dining experience that I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a thoughtful and exquisite meal. I can’t wait to return and I may have to replay our visit the exact same way - THAT good!

Restaurantji Recommends
Favorite dishes: “chili chicken 65” & Lamb Shank.
I’d recommend sharing a butter chicken for the table. Great drinks, outstanding staff. Sit outside at the bar or patio if it’s nice out.
Also they just started a happy hour. We had the smash burger & butter chicken nachos. Both A+.
Ela is such a hit I think they are opening one in West Palm (city place) around end of year.

Amazing food, drinks and even better service. We came on a busy Friday night and our bartender Dillon took great care of me and my friend. He had great recommendations from the food and drink menus and made sure our glasses were always full. Highly recommended it if you’re in the neighborhood!

We love Ela BUT the change to the happy hour menu is just so so disappointing. I get it’s not high season, but did you really need to change everything??? The bar is just as full as it ever is but the experience is so below the high standard you set. So disappointing for a regular customer.

This is a protest letter to the owner or a management who thought it’s a good idea to kill the weekend for locals.
Closed until 4pm on weekends and no food until 5pm???!!!
The bar was FULL at 4:01pm and now it’s 5:15 and everyone is hungry starving.
You can do better than this - the locals deserve it as we’re 365 fan of yours.
Shout out for the crew - you are the best!
