The bread!!!!!

Went here for the first time yesterday. What a disaster. The young girl at the cash register did not understand English very well and it was sooo hard to place the order. I had to repeat it 5 times, use hand gestures and point at the little toppings menu. Then when she told me the amount it was almost $4 more than any other Firehouse in all of Palm Beach County?? I always order the exact same thing. When I asked why she was overcharging me, again with the I don’t speak English well?? Why are you waiting on customers and taking orders then? Sorry, I don’t know how you came up with that amount but I refuse to allow you to cheat me out of my hard earned money. I left and went to a different Firehouse where they didn’t overcharge me. Won’t be back either. Momma didn’t raise no fool!

The Litty Show

I recently had an utterly disappointing experience at this restaurant that I feel compelled to share, so others can avoid the same fate. Upon entering, I greeted the sandwich maker with a simple "hello," but was met with complete silence. The lady at the register barely acknowledged my presence, instead brusquely asking if I was ordering anything so she could put it on the grill. It was clear from the start that customer service was not a priority.

As I attempted to place my order, the register attendant seemed completely lost, fumbling with the buttons and admitting, “I don’t work the register, sorry, I don’t know what I’m doing.” This was alarming, to say the least. She had to call her manager on her personal phone for help, which only added to the confusion. To make matters worse, she charged me for each side separately instead of offering a combo, forcing her manager to step in once again.

When they finally began to prepare my sandwiches, I was bombarded with questions about how they were made—as if I was the one who worked there. Just when I thought things might improve, I noticed my sandwiches were not heated. I reminded them, and then they pulled a bag of frozen mac and cheese from the freezer, making me wait even longer. All of this for a staggering $60 bill at a sandwich shop!

To add insult to injury, both employees were speaking in a foreign language, and while I respect their right to communicate as they wish, it felt incredibly disrespectful and isolating, as though they were talking about me and my family. I deeply regretted not asking for a refund and leaving, but after a grueling six-hour road trip, we were simply too exhausted.

If you're considering dining here, I urge you to think twice. My experience was nothing short of a nightmare, and I wouldn’t wish this on anyone. A zero out of five rating feels inadequate for the level of service I received. Save your time and money—go somewhere else!

I ordered a hook and ladder via DoorDash and it was absolutely delicious! The bread was fresh and soft, portions were perfect. I will definitely be back!

Terrible service, employees don’t understand and don’t care. Got overcharged, employee didn’t even understand. Meatballs were burnt on my daughter’s sub. Our subs weren’t the same quality as the location in west Palm. Won’t be going back

Beyond AWFUL. I had called because I ordered on the Mobile app as soon as I placed the order and it ordered the wrong sub so I called immediately after and told them and they said they’ve already made the sub, but I also didn’t have the sub ready for pick up until one hours later because I would place the order One hour ahead of time so I had cold upon arrival and I asked them to switch the sub they didn’t do it nor did they give me a drink cup with my order very disappointed very upset. This will be the last time I come here. I also had to spend more money to order another sub because they did not replace the original one that I wanted. Never again!

Subs are tiny, like for a child. Prices are high. Wait time is too long. Employee attitude is borderline abrasive. Drink machine is out of many drinks.

This is an awful Firehouse Subs. Argued with me on my order and then the food itself was disgusting and we all got sick. I'm contacting the County health inspector.

Been here before with decent food and service. Checked on Google this Friday evening to see the hours, which showed open until 9p. So i made the drive to the restaurant (arriving before 8:30p, as Isaw at least one other person also did while i was arriving), only to see that the restaurant was closed. I figured that Google must've been wrong, and while disappointed, i started to leave. Then, I noticed the closing time had been peeled off the door.... So I'd say the takeaway is that you can't count on them to be open at any given time. I guess they close whenever they feel the need or relevance without regard for customers. Things inside looked nicely packed up for the night with furniture stacked. No note of remorse or an emergency need to close early visible. Lesson learned: don't go thinking you can grab a sub without calling first.
