Three words: Style over substance. The best part about our dinner was the decor.

I was very disappointed in our meal. We had the $38/person special which included the corn soup, fried chicken and the tart for dessert. My husband had the trifle. I had the Salt of Earth drink and my husband had an espresso martini and they were sooo strong that they were not enjoyable and my husband couldn't even finish his. A 20% tip was already on the bill. The decor seemed dated, tropical, with wicker chairs.
I visited the coffee area while staying at the hotel and I think that for the quality of the hotel and the beauty of all the areas, the coffee, despite being good, lacks a little more presentation. More about my visit on my Instagram travel_a_for_coffee
This place is great, but the service is just the worst: came to place the order to go. 1) when taking my order she was running from me like I had to scream my order to her 2) when taking orders from other people they didn’t even turned to them, making them speak to their back. 3) I ordered tea and asked for two tea bags cause I love it strong - charged me twice without warning, not a big deal but the whole experience was already failing. 4) when ordering pizza I asked “do you have some pizza with prosciutto? And she answers “no” and that’s all. Seeing me for a minute looking for the right option when I asked “can I order regular pizza and add some prosciutto on top?” she answers “ok”, like what is that? 5) no communication skills at all: not asking if I want something else, not even polite “please” or “thank you”. I am disappointed.

I cannot convey enough…. Regarding the Staff. They truly made my trip. Could not have been MORE congenial and welcoming. Huge acknowledgement to: Mia, Irwin, TiTi, Syria and Roberto! These people could not have been more accommodating…. I played golf… but am drawn here based on the service!
Thank you Everyone!

I've been to Honeybee a few times for their outstanding fried chicken. The normal serving is 5 large pieces with mashed potatoes. We went for the Flavors of Palm Beach menu. I didn't expect to get a full portion, but was rather disappointed that there was 1 piece of chicken, and a very small one at best.I thought there would be 2 pieces. To be fair the meal came with a (delicious) fig and radicchio salad-although the chef forgot the figs on 2 of our salads but our wonderful server immediately brought 2 plates of figs. It also came with a an almost inedible, citrus tart dessert. The crust was as hard as a rock and couldn't be broken. The citrus curd was just awful. I took one small taste and put down the spoon. Likewise my friends. I will be back for the regular menu chicken because it is worth the 45 minute drive from my home. Lesson learned-always beware of special menus!
The food is amazing and a great kids menu Our server Angel was a doll Nice polite and very on top of everything Unfortunately the hosts and bartenders are unpleasant. The first person you see at the restaurant is the host right you check in with her and she just seemed bored and uninterested to help you No smile. Or warm greeting The bartender who says she is the lead is apparently overworked and just doing her job. Loretta is new to bartending and counting take your dessert order because she didn't know how to make drinks The food is amazing but if your staying at the hotel just do room service or ask for angel to be your server !
I would not go back! Service was terrible not trained at all! Food was not good very small portion of Mahi and over cooked. It was 2 of us and they add 20 percent gratuity to your bill!
I’m not a stop at the local resort guy and eat. I was close the menu looked interesting.
Wow. What a surprise. Oh so good. The service. Tom and Tet. Amazing. Tom. Walked me through the pizza making. Let me just say it’s a must

Salad was very good, but very expensive. Only 1 other table taken in restaurant and it took 45 minutes to get our food. Manager was overly generous in comping our meal because of the long wait .

Lindsey Autry is an excellent chef but her fried chicken fell flat. It was over fried. The corn muffins were mushy. My guest had the filet and deemed it excellent. I had been to regional and had a much better experience.
My husband and I stayed at the PGA Resort over the Fourth of July weekend and we ate from the Honeybelle twice during our stay. We first ordered the hot honey & pepperoni pizza and Caesar salad via room service. We were surprised at how good they both were and we’re pizza and Caesar salad snobs. We ate the restaurant another night because they advertised a special menu for “National Fried Chicken Day.” Once at the restaurant, we found out they were not offering this special, which was a bummer. We instead ordered the pimento cheese dip (pretty good) and a fried chicken dish. The chicken had a good cook, though a under seasoned. The cornbread was pretty solid and had a nice buttery flavor. We tried their special Arnold Palmer which tasted good but was impossible to drink through a straw from the muddled berries. Service was just fine, though all of our food came before our drinks.

Absolutely NO service. Food? What food? It never came. We left after 50 minutes and after the waiter Steven came once. This place might have fried chicken that cures cancer and grants immortality but you’ll wait until the heat death of the universe to get service. And don’t use the excuse of covid and lack of employees - there were multiple employees capable of the basic task of serving customers. I’d give negative stars if possible.
AVOID.

We were a party of 4. We arrived at 6 and we were the only diners so it was nice and quiet. The ambiance is really nice and it's very clean. Steve was our waiter and he couldn't have been more attentive. It was our 2nd time here for me and my husband but the other 2 hadn't been before. All of us were familiar with chef Autry from the Regional and were were kind of heartbroken when it closed. So we were very happy to find her at Honeybelle's. I had the fried chicken the 1st time and it was the best ever. It comes with house made pickles and a piece of cornbread. So yummy! My 97 year old mother in law loves fried chicken so I wanted her, especially, to taste the heavenly fried chicken there. She decided to share with her daughter and they both split the little gem salad. Here's where the disappointment comes in...they asked for another helping of pickles and cornbread. They accommodated them with an extra helping of pickles but said there would be an extra up charge for another piece of cornbread. Really? REALLY? The fried chicken is $38 for 1/2 bird and you can't give is an extra piece of cornbread? We each had a cocktail, bread basket (a la carte) salad, fried chicken, mushroom pizza, pork Milanese, and 3 coffees. The bill was $$$$ and the Nickel - and-dime-ing left a bad taste in our mouths. Such a shame since the food was so delicious and everything else was spot-on. So glad we found chef Autry and tasted her magical fried chicken. Unfortunately, we won't be back based on principle.
