This restaurant has been consistently reliable ..... not tonite. Food dish disappointing along with my partner's. First time not up to standards, maybe just bad nite ..... one time.
Although the food is fabulous, the consistent poor service makes the whole experience miserable!
I took on daily special menu, peppercorn veal cutlet. Veal cutlet was good but the dish was just fair. Probably, because we were not from regular clientele, they sit us first table in the corner. Service was good.
An absolutely fabulous meal! Limoncello continues to out-do themselves with flavorful meals. My husband enjoyed the crispy duck and I had the gnocchi with pesto; both were amazing. For cocktails, the dirty pickle martini and the limoncello martini are our go-to favorites. Our service was impeccable, he was warm, friendly, and funny!!
I have been here atleast a dozen times over the last few years. My past two times have been very disappointing. I will not be returning. Our waiter was terrible, I won't share his name. Messed up our order, especially our apps. I asked 3x for more water before receiving it. The bread was terrible, it used to be my favorite but they changed it. My entree came out warm, my wife's cool, and our guests warm at best. Dinner was over $400 for 4 people, the value was a 1 star. Finally a nice cup of decaf coffee came out cool. Such a shame. I have given so many 5 star reviews in the past.
Last night they miss the boat string beans were terrible and we asked for something else and got escarole and beans for 14.00 at best Luke warm four people sent the beans an not one question about the food you would think that 4 people sent something back one would ask a question. To top it off a small bottle of club soda 6 dollars where do these people think they are at. Not to worry last time of being abused then the waiter said to us there was a 20% gratuity for the worst service he deserves nothing
We go to Limoncello often and for the most part, I have a good experience but not tonight. Start off we had a sudden o'clock reservation. We came in at 5:30 early to have a few drinks. When we checked in at 5:30 I told them if a table becomes available before seven we would gladly take it. We had a High top reserved. We said at the bar there were three high tops available when we got there. One of them was available all the way till 7 o'clock. No one sit there. At 7 o'clock without them getting us at the bar I went to the maître d' and told him I was ready for our table. He put us at that exact high top that was available for the entire time. totally insane!
My filet of sole entree was excellent. It was a large piece of fish properly prepared in a delicious sauce with pasta. The meal was filling and delightful. I have ordered the same entree twice before and it has been consistently excellent. Our server was Marco. His service was excellent. He was immediately responsive to our requests, checked with us throughout the meal and had a very pleasant demeanor. Altogether a very pleasant meal experience.
AGreat it staff. Paid attention to every detail. The food was delicious. We had Veal Parm and spinach on the side. The 1/2 price between 5-6 pm is also a big attraction. I wish we lived closer because we would visit there very often

Outstanding food and exceptional service! The entire team works seamlessly together, clearly taking pride in creating a memorable dining experience. Every detail was thoughtfully handled, highly recommend!
We love Lemoncello and come here several times each month. The experience starts with Alan, the valet, who parks the car. We sit at the bar and the staff (Devon, Lexie, Bernadette & Diego) are friendly and welcoming. The bar is about 20 seats and we can usually get seats but it is more challenging on the weekends and during the season.
Their bread service is amazing - warm crusty bread that is soft inside with EVOO, salt and pepper. They have nightly specials and we ordered the veal to be shared and have to admit it's one of the few things we wouldn't order again. The serving was small (that's normal for veal) and Elizabeth doesn't care for olives but Ernie said the olives made the dish. Go figure!
Their pastas are amazing - especially the special each night that's tossed in a cheese bowl. Their fish dishes, chicken and salads are all good.
Next time we will do the pasta in the cheese wheel but will need some lactaid!

This restaurant consistently provides the highest quality of food and service. Our server Louis was outstanding with his recommendations and descriptions of the menu and fabulous specials. Our table of four had a wonderful experience.
The food, the inside ambience, the attention to detail to the service was above par. Our waiter was very attentive and took care of our dining experience.
I will say however that the front of the restaurant (outside) needs more attention. The bushes are dying, the front sidewalk is dirty and riddled with old chewing gum, yard debris and other assorted trash.
We will be back for their exquisite menu and the “cheese bowl” experience, but please take some time to clean up the entrance.
If the outside was an impeccable as the inside this place would be remarkable. Attention to detail with the little things goes a long way.
This is a true family restaurant with a delicious bolognese recipe from Bologna in Italy and this makes it worthy of a repeat visit.
