NEVS Barbecue

NEVS catered my daughter’s wedding of 100 this past weekend. Planning was simple. Day of was seamless and the food was ah-mazing!

I had Tommy and his NEVS team cater an event for 225. Tommy worked with me, suggesting the best menu, and man, did he deliver! Burnt Ends, Ribs, and Pulled Pork, plus unbelievable sides and desserts, the brownies are a must. The night of our event, Tommy and his team attended to all the details, and I never once had to check on them and “get things going.” They were attentive to my guests and treated our venue like we were in NEVS. Tommy and his NEVS team are a 5 out of 5!

Great food ,sports are always playing on the tv, everyone is kind, tons of options.

I ordered the burnt ends with high expectations but, unfortunately, I was very disappointed. Their take on burnt ends is to simply cube the brisket, which included a large layer of fat. One and done for Nev's BBQ.

I had the BBQ brisket sandwich combo and it was amazing. Brisket was not overly fatty and bun was buttered just right. The frys are homemade. Will be bringing family back soon.

The food was amazing. Everything. Great service and happy employees. My favorite was the brisket. But everything is amazing. Both hot sides were so good and unique in flavor. (Mac n cheese & baked beans). We also had some smoked sausage jalapeno and cheddar plus smoked pulled pork. Two of us shared a third pound each of the sausage, pork, and brisket - Plus, the two sides and we still had leftovers to take home for the next day.

The best brisket I ever had in my life! So juicy and tender. Also the best Coleslaw, with a touch of parsley and the most amazing cornbread, and I don’t really like cornbread but I tried because looked so tasty, just unbelievable!

Parking: The parking is huge

Kid-friendliness: They have an special room only to change the babies that looked super comfy

Wheelchair accessibility: Just when we were there was a wheel chair person and it looked perfect

It's definitely a must when in area or if you are a local and haven't tried yet.

The smell of smoked meats just whafts into the nostrils as you enter the building. It was quite divine and sumptuous.

True Texas BBQ in the house!!

Upon walking in, I was given a sample of the brisket, omgoodness, take my money!

The brisket was tender to melt in your mouth and hands point, very minimal seasoning, so you get the flavors of the meat and smoke all the way.

The burnt ends were my favorite from this visit and would highly recommend them!

My least favorite was the potato salad. Although it had good flavor, the potatoes were too hard, almost crunchy, not to my liking.

The cole slaw was pretty standard.

The cornbread muffins were fantastic, could have had a dozen ?

The restaurant was spotless and the staff was very nice. Beautifully and simply decorated as well.

The owner was there training some staff so I read able to talk to him and get a little back story and tour of the smoker. Best of luck sir, again like I said, way better than Terry Blacks!

damn good bbq. I got the burnt ends brisket, beans and of course the cornbread. The burnt ends melt in your mouth. Really tender, juicy and so flavorful. The beans had a wonderful mixture of spicy and sweet. And the cornbread looks small at first but it is pretty big. There is outside and inside seating. Very cool decor. I most definitely will be going back. 10/10. GET THOSE BURNT ENDS!!!!

First time trying Nevs. It was very good. We had pulled pork, brisket, baked beans, fries, slaw and corn bread. All delicious. Consensus was the brisket was the favorite.
