what kinda of pizza place only sells slices on Fri and Sat. They will turn you away which is a bad business model.
UPDATE: The owner was really nice and offered to remake the meal. I took him up on the one pizza we never received and paid for a second pizza for pickup at a similar day of the week and time as the original order. Pizza was significantly better, the order was spot on, and it was ready for pickup on time. When I picked up the pizza, everything seemed to be under control in the restaurant. My previous pick up was hopefully just a one off. Happy to note that the owner and team care about the customers and are still making great Chicago style pizza. This place was fantastic one year ago. Went back and there were a bunch of young guys running the place. Not a problem if they can deliver. But we ran into problem after problem on my order: 2 Chicago style pizzas and some buffalo wings. The cost of this order was over $100. I’m giving them two stars because I really hope this was a one off problem.1) I arrive to pick up my order on time and they tell me that they have to re-make one of my pizzas because one broke while taking it out of the oven. They said it would take 15 - 20 more minutes. Not a problem. It happens. Ended up taking 30 minutes so they gave me a few cannolis since I was now late with the food for my brother’s birthday.2) I finally make it to birthday and when opening the pizza boxes - one of the pizza crusts is super burnt. Ufff…. Okay… it’s not all about the crust, we’ll survive. Plus the other pizza looked fine.3) here is the icing on the cake. I ordered two different Chicago style pizzas. One with meatballs, sausage, green pepper and onion. The other with pepperoni, mushroom, and ricotta cheese. But when we cut into the pizzas, both were exactly the same. Sausage, green pepper, and onion. Maybe meatball if it looked and tasted like sausage. But no pepperoni, ricotta, mushroom which is was my brother’s favorite pizza previously. What the heck guys. You literally botched my brother’s birthday order. The cannolis and wings were okay but not worth it. Probably just my tastes. Wings would be better if baked. Cannolis were very sweet. It’s okay, neither was my preference and not why we chose Palma.Palma WAS my spot for Chicago style pizza in Florida. But the saddest part is that the pizzas were far from the quality they were at previously. Burned, wrong toppings, tons of sauce (which literally tasted like jarred pasta sauce), they just were not prepared properly at all.Anyways hopefully they pick up their game and someone tells me they changed for the better. Otherwise sadly I’m not going back.

Meh. The experience I had was okay but not great. Below par. Ordered ranch didn’t receive it and didn’t receive the extra sauce we ordered. 2 stars seems pretty accurate for the experience I had.

The "chicago" style is false advertising. Crust was doughy and thick not remotely similar to chicago style at all. Was so

It’s a shame because the pizza is good but it was a clown car circus when we ordered three pizzas on a Sunday night.
Vegetarian options: We just got a vegetarian pizza. They gave us our money back after waiting an hour.

I ordered a take out pizza and arrived 25 minutes later, when it was supposed to be ready. Upon arrival, the employee told me it would be ready in five minutes. After waiting at the counter for 25 minutes, the employee sliced the pizza (with some difficulty), boxed it, and handed it to me. Observing his difficulty in slicing the pizza, I opened the box to check the pizza and saw that it was burned. I told him this was unacceptable and I would not take this pizza. After waiting nearly an hour for this pizza, I was not going to wait for him to attempt to make another one. Apparently, Palma Pizza is under new ownership, and my experience after two visits is that the new staff is not as competent, welcoming, and customer-focused as the staff under the previous ownership.

It's all bread! Barely any cheese or topping! They didn't even put the sauce on top! I was hoping for it to give Lou Malnati's of Naperville a run for their money. It didn't even give New York Chicago pizza of Pinecrest a run for their money. At this price, it's a sick joke. The crust is even too salty to make a meal of!
