Panera Bread

Order was made wrong. When I explained my order is not right, staff are arguing and disrespectful. They were going to throw away the wrong order, other staff said they will eat my wrong order…??!! Staff are very very rude. They made my new order resentful. I watched the process, my order was made by one staff, whole time talking to other staff, eyes never really on the food they were making for me, randomly wrapping my order. Ingredients are at minimum. When they pass my correct order to me, I said thank you with no response, just gave me a bad look. Super Rude! Alright, lesson learned! Not going to order from here again.

This location is ok; the food is great but I ordered for many things and didn’t receive them, (like bread, soup, and extra turkey in my sandwich) There were men cleaning the women’s restroom without asking, and when my daughter asked for a water cup they ignored her and another person noticed us and gave us a cup. So overall, this Panera Bread had pretty good food, but an ok atmosphere and definitely need to be supplied with more products and better stuff.

A few years ago my laptop mysteriously broke and was not repairable. I now have an upcoming lawsuit and require this review as evidence.

Very rude staff. The manager said they were closed when they weren’t. The manager told me if I wanted Hot coffee I should make it at home WORST PANERA BREAD. Great place HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT.

I have eaten here many times. The food here is pretty good and pretty quick. The service here is ok just I think the inside is pretty dirty and the cleaning needs to be improved but overall I recommend.

Bugs!!! Yesterday I went to lunch and was bitten multiple times by something at the booth there directly behind the soda fountain. I didn't see what it was but when my arms started to burn and itch I went right to the bathroom to wash. That's when the welts from the bites started to appear. The manager was informed and told me she had just reported ants to pest control. She asked to see where I had been seated so I showed her and she said she didn't see anything and that no one else complained.... she had just told me about her call to report the ants!!! Please be careful if you go to this restaurant! I personally will not be going back!

Maybe it's just me, but this is my second try at Panera, and both absolute failures. After not being able to get any employee to help me at the Indiantown Road store, today I tried the Alton store. It seems Panera has no employees. You stand around waiting at the counter looking around, waiting, even calling out, and you just can't get any service. So this time I left. Either everyone is avoiding me, or Panera has some serious Employee Engagement issues.

I visited this location with my son and tried to order two smoothies and a sandwich. After waiting for the cashier to finish speaking with a new hire, I was told the sandwich I wanted wasn’t available, but that I could custom order something similar. Since I wasn’t familiar with the menu, I agreed and asked for their help.

Instead of assisting, the cashier abruptly refused to help and even laughed to himself. The interaction felt dismissive and unprofessional. It was also disappointing to see this behavior in front of a new employee that he was clearly training—it didn’t reflect well on the training or the team environment.

Overall, the service was frustrating and not what I would expect.

Food was good, my one complaint was one the workers was cleaning the air handlers (in the ceillings) and around the patrons while they were eating. A big turn off for my experience.

I ordered to dine in, food was prepared to go. I customized a salad to remove certain ingredients, nothing was removed. The tables were filthy full of fluids, food and food on the floors too.

This is my favorite Panera store. I love the ambience and decor, not to mention the good food. It's airy, well lit and spacious. A delight to walk into.

Great cranberry walnut sandwich and tomato soup! The staff was friendly and helpful but the tables were all dirty.
