We love Voodoo Bayou. We have been coming here since they opened. The wood fired oysters are delicious, highly recommend. The cocktails are always good. The ambience is fun. We do miss the original deviled eggs they had, but you can't have it all. lol. Cass was our waitress this time and she was fantastic. She was super friendly and attentive.

Was anticipating a laid back southern cajun experience. Got a noisy chain bar crowd. BUT, the food was excellent from my wood fired oysters, to wifes shrimp and grits, to my jumbalya, to the bignets we both had for dessert. Waiter was top notch. Oly glitch was wifes salad arriving after her entree.

The staff was very helpful in the reservation I made. It was my friends band performing and also a surprise going away party. I brought in a cake and they were very nice to store it for me for when the time came to bring it out. Our server Matthew was really nice and helpful. He checked on us often.
