The Islander Grill And Tiki Bar

Wow! We are staying at the Marriott Ocean Palms resort. The concierge told us to come to your restaurant because the music and the food were outstanding. We were not disappointed. Nicole our server was absolutely phenomenal. The food was delicious. We ordered the coconut grouoer, the calamari with the beet salad. You cannot go wrong with this establishment. I highly recommend it.

Food was just ok and service was not the best.

Was there yesterday and I wanted to treat my fiance to a 5 star meal. She was in the bathroom so I went ahead and ordered for her. I got her the surf and turf which was a 7 Oz Filet mignon and I got the Parmesan swordfish. We were both highly disappointed. Everything was tasteless. The fillet wasn't good, it was tough with no real flavor as was Everything. I don't mind paying top dollar for a premium meal but when I spend top dollar for subpar food I feel like I need to talk about it. I definitely won't be back. I was drinking an adult beverage and I would have happily bought more but the waitress never offered. By the way this was not a busy time. There was 2 other tables in the entire restaurant during our visit. Not happy about spending $187 for two people to have a shity meal.

Way too loud. Seriously. It was like being at a live concert, they had the live music blaring so loud. Wanted to sit outside for dinner and we were told no. Empty restaurant for dinner and we soon understood why. The steak was okay but the atmosphere and service need’s improvement. Btw; they don’t have a decent breakfast at this restaurant, so we had to walk to the restaurant strip area.

We love The Islander...food, service, atmosphere and entertainment...Mickael and Lilian are there on Friday nights for listening or dancing! Reservations in season...fair price all year!

Great place to stop and have a beverage outdoors with Lisa, Ashley, and Lacey. Also, had a very nice dinner and the evening entertainment was great! We stay down the street but always walk down to The Islander.
