I have been here quite often and this time something was off. The waiter poured my friend’s sparkling water in other glasses when it was just for him. The waiter came out with the wrong orders twice and served us all at different times. Everyone had their food and I was waiting on my filet mignon. The filet mignon was like leather very hard to cut. They put way too much peppercorn over my steak and the risotto. They raised their prices and the service and food went downhill. And at the same day, it was my wife’s birthday. They came to the table to sing happy birthday and they gave her a plate of whipped cream with a candle in it. A restaurant that’s serving you, Manhattan Prices doesn’t even give you a piece of cake for the person‘s birthday. They just foam up a
the Whipped cream with a candle very sad. I do not think I will be returning to this restaurant sadly

Did not have a great experience here tonight but will give it another chance. Think our server had an off night so I’m not going to hold a restaurant accountable for it yet but when you pay $150 for a date night there should be a higher standard. Also if the server drops a bottle of olive oil that’s shatters and sprays all over a customer’s pants and shoes maybe provide them with something to clean up with instead of just suggesting to be careful when you leave

The place looks like the food should taste but I was wrong, very wrong. Starting off Garlic Octopus appetizer, was ok, alot of raw garlic, and there were parts of the octopus that wernt cooked the parts that were cooked were ok i guess but had a very strong flavor. (I eat alot of octopus) They bring complementary bread, which besides the wine, was the best part of the experience. I had the rack of lamb(medium), she had the Corvina. Lamb was RAW and smothered in what they call a port wine sauce, which is just brown gravy. And their mint jelly was something idk what it was.Disgusting. One bite and i sent it back. Her fish was fried and SMOTHERD in white gravy.( couldn't see the fish at all) Veggies wernt cooked or seasoned at all. She ate a couple bites as well as I did to try it. Terrible. I ordered a NY strip bc I saw a guy get it and eat it all, so I thought oh maybe can't go wrong there, we'll strike 2, steak not seasoned egg was cooked good but guess what, that brown gravy was smothering it and the veggies were uncooked and not seasoned AGAIN. the Rice that they served with the steak and fries( which is double starch that doesn't make sense) wasn't bad. I dont know how this place is still open. The smothering of everything tells me this place is desperate and crying for help. Service was good and our server did recommend a great wine. Her recommendations on the food, not so much. Stay clear of this place. Over priced pig slop

We visited this restaurant on our travels, the staff is great and very friendly. I am Portuguese and I can say this is not 100% Portuguese cuisine. We do not serve pasta, marinara sauce, bruschetta or masala dishes to name a few. There was no pão de milho, they give you olives, no Portuguese cheese. The restaurant does not serve rotisserie chicken or mini potatoes and there is no piri piri sauce dishes. Overall the food is good, if you looking for a taste of fish dishes but not for the Portuguese experience and not for my palette. My husband who is Spanish enjoyed it very much and said the food was clean and not over salted and gives it a thumbs up. Quite expensive considering conversion rate.

The food was ok, not great. But the service was good without being too much or intrusive. The place also has a good feel and vibe.

The server was great. The food taste was ok but nothing to write home about. Prices are a bit steep. The true letdown was the risotto. It was more like an overcooked rice. Nothing creamy or tasty about it. I'm not sure if that is the Portuguese style, but it did not look like the pictures they have on their website. Overall, it was not worth the close to $300 that I paid.

A friend recommended the restaurant for a birthday dinner. My husband had such an amazing time and absolutely loved the food (he tried everyone's). There is a sign up front that says This isn't a fast food restaurant. That is true. Our dinner came after an hour in so do not try to rush here. They definitely needed more staff for a Friday night and that was felt throughout the visit. But, our server Hugo was such a great part of our night, his delays were not his fault. It would have been 5 star if there was more staff for service in the first half of our visit when it was busy. The ambiance is very nice. The bruschetta has a lot of balsamic so if you don't like it like me make sure to ask about that. My husband was dying over the seafood dishes.

Our very professional server last night (Jorge-from Lisbon) provided an exceptional evening. We had the sardine app, octopus app and 2 fish entrees and the food was prepared perfectly. Paired with a Reserva Tinto wine from Portugal ?? this was a very special evening.

We wanted to experience fine dining without having to leave Palm Coast. We were celebrating my 46th bday. The Portuguese Wine & Bar restaurant delivered and some! From entering to exiting staff was genuinely welcoming and appreciative of our visit. Special thank you to our waitress Patricia who recommended delicious entrees options - one I particularly enjoyed was the grilled octopus! She was very sweet and attentive. Their desserts were the icing on the cake!!! Definitely a dining experience I encourage you to visit!!
