So to the blue haired girl that decided to overcharge my wife because she wanted one patty instead of two is very confusing to me because it’s less meat for the company to make, but for some reason, she charged me for double the price of the actual sandwich or even extra for less than what they wanted it was she wanted on the sandwich Unprofessional very unhappy. I use this place constantly will not use it again. Do not appreciate disrespect just because you’ve had a bad day. You wanna take it out of somebody thank you. I hope you guys learn how to run a business better.

Waited over 30 mins for order. People who ordered after us got our food before we did. While waiting, 2 other people dining in had to take their order back to the counter for correction. Then, 2 out of the 3 burgers we were wrong. The owner was rude and said we had to wait after everyone else to have our order fixed. We demanded a refund. He called the police because we demanded our order fixed and a refund. Told us our time wasn't worth anything. Will be calling Corperate. This was my mother's first experience at a steak and steak, and I highly doubt she will return to one.

We used the kiosk to order and missed the personal service that Steak 'n shake used to provide.Michael was grilling burgers, and we asked him to change our order to take out instead of dine in. He was very helpful and congenial. Another employee remade our shakes when they came out in glasses instead of to-go cups. She was also very nice and helpful.We asked to see the manager so that we could give compliments to the employees but we were unable to talk with him because he was doing paperwork. It was very disappointing that human contact is so lacking now at Steak n' shake. The food is still great.

Have to place order on a touch screen.That's hard for some of us 'older' folks. Workers made zero offer to help me. When I saw the receipt I noticed that these workers actuality expect a tip? Are you kidding me?

They went digital on service. So now it's pointless to eat here when it comes to the atmosphere of talking to another person, having that interaction of the waitress/waiter to take your order.The fact that a tip is still available when it's not you actually interacting with the customer directly will never be for the cooks.The worst part though is the fact that the facility is messy in the bathroom, floors are sticky like a movie theater. Sorry steak and shake you stank now that you did this.
They did not put any ketchup, mayonnaise or lettuce on my cheese burger. It is barely open.

We came to the door because google said it was 24 hours. It was locked and the sign on the door said dine in till 12:00 or something like that. The guy in inside just looked at us like we were idiots. So the sign did say drive through opened 24 hours. So me and my wife pulled around to drive through where we waited five minutes yelling hello into the speaker. No one helped us so we pulled up to the window where we saw a lady talking with the guy we saw in the front dinning room totally ignoring us completely. We left in disbelief. Will never be back again!
