I would be lying if I said they have great service when service is absolutely amazing and the meal is tender and cooked right on the spot , when you walk in it’s nothing but a nice and welcoming vibe and the drinks are so good 🤤😋 I would most definitely recommend and for sure will be coming back 😉
Our second time here and Jesse did not disappoint! The man is an entertainer and gave our family the full experience. We have 5 kids with us and they all loved it!

The sports bar part of the name threw me a little and when we first entered we assumed it would be a hibachi restaurant where you order but they cook in the back. Nope. They walked us around the corner into a separate room filled with hibachi tables. Cook did a great job both with flavor and with entertaining as he cooked. The ginger sauce was good, not too sweet. Same with the ginger dressing. I was not able to try the yum yum (white sauce) because of my egg allergy, but my father says it is one of the best he has had recently.
10/10 will eat here again.
Dietary restrictions: I have an egg allergy and the cook discussed with me beforehand the severity and whether my food needed to be cooked with separate utensils or the grill cleaned after the eggs in the rice.
My friend has a shellfish allergy and they skipped shrimp until the very end to keep his foods from coming in contact with shellfish.

Just ok. The atmosphere and experience is a traditional hibachi restaurant but the quality of the food was just average in my opinion. The scallops didn’t taste particularly fresh and the sushi we had as an appetizer was a bit fishy as well. No one got sick but definitely didn’t seem like the highest quality. The noodles that are served with the hibachi were very mediocre….flavorless and mushy.

It is somewhat expensive to eat there, for 6 people we paid 350, what didn't seem right to me is that they automatically charge the tip to the account without the customer's consent and it is a high sum, they charged us 60 dollars. ????

Have you ever been to a hibachi restaurant? In terms of the food preparation experience, Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar is much like every other hibachi restaurant:
- Friendly chef rhythmically clacking and clanging, swirling and twirling his cooking tools? Check.
- Roaring, face-warming flame at the start to get your attention? Check.
- The flaming onion choo-choo train trick? Check.
- Chef tossing morsels into customer mouths for laughs? Check.
- Veggies were sliced and diced, together with a large mound of rice, all fried with lumps of butter and portioned out before the proteins come out? Check.
I'm not saying that any of these things are bad, but you'll see these time-tested themes at the Steakhouse. The thing that sets the Steakhouse apart seems to be the nice seating area near the bar for those foregoing the hibachi experience for sushi and drinks. I'd like to return to eat and explore the drinks menu more in detail in this area one day, actually.
The hibachi-area is large with a dozen grills. The service was quick and we were well-attended to. Servers were very nice and our chef was friendly.
The menu is typical: steak, chicken, scallops, shrimp, etc and combinations thereof. My party of six ordered some of the above proteins (served with ginger sauce and a creamy "yum-yum sauce") as well as edamame and shrimp tempura as starters.
As for the quality of the food, the portions were huge and seasoned well. Maybe too well as chef may have added a squirt too much soy sauce. Soup and salad (lettuce) come with each hibachi meal. Salads are served with a choice of either ginger dressing or a creamy “yum-yum” dressing. We found the ginger dressing stronger than that of other restaurants; my father didn’t eat his ginger-dressed salad. Overall, though, the meal was good.
Restrooms are appointed well and clean.
For a very familiar, but good, hibachi experience, do visit the Tokyo Japanese Steakhouse and Sushi Bar. Let me know how the sushi and drinks are!

Not sure how they're still operating when the place is always empty. Both the receptionist and FOH manager need to be fired as they are the opposite of welcoming, and act like it's a big problem when you step in for lunch or dinner. I've even witnessed them straight up turn patrons away during normal business hours.

We went to lunch on Saturday about 2pm and we had the entire restaurants to ourselves. There was a separate menu of happy hour appetizers and sushi rolls so we ordered the salmon roll and the sweet potato roll. I was so disappointed, I’ve never have such tiny rolls. They have specialty rolls that I’m sure are regular size but just know the happy hour rolls are the smallest rolls you’ll probably ever get. Jesse was our chef and he is so passionate and very entertaining. Ask for him when you go. Our food was so good. I haven’t been to hibachi in years but I forgot how much butter they use. It tastes good but overall health is more important to me now so that’s the only reason I can’t give a full five stars.
