We sat down with the baker and chose three different flavors for our cake and showed her a picture of how we'd like the cake. The wedding was a Harry Potter themed wedding and she followed everything in the picture and more! The cake was gorgeous and was truly magical. “Sweetwood Bakery provided the cake for our wedding and it was amazing! We asked for a simple white frosting with blue fruit and greenery and it came out exactly how we envisioned it. One of the venue servers said it was his favorite wedding cake to date because of how beautiful the design was and that is saying a lot because the server has seen so many wedding cakes! “I have not been to Safety Harbor in a very long time. I had no reason to. It has Changed quite a bit since I Became the Arch Bishop of Saint Louis. I fell upon all the places that are bars, just everywhere.I stopped when I seen this place ,Called Bassano Cheese Cake Cafe. With a holiday theme and the best wait staff I've ever seen. They know what they are doing.I met the Owners Cynthia and Thomas. Very family friendly and organized. I started to think of My Big Brother Mario, who flew to New York and drove to Yonkers just for Cheese Cake. Thank you for the meal and memories.I had the steak breakfast burrito, waffles and the Irish man Cheese Cake. With an orange blossom tea sweetened. The burrito was just the right size and I sensed something different than usual. Maybe allspice or just nut meg ; it was wonder filled and I looked forward to the next bite as I ate. The waffles were crispy on the outside with a slight char ,that nailed a perfectly prepared meal. The Irishman Cheese Cake was awesome and the Irish cream whipped cream made every bite worth the the trip to Safety Harbor.So, if your ever within distance stop in ask for Hazel the best waitress I ever met. “We wanted something unique for our wedding: a tiered flan. Claudia’s Heavenly Cakes and Flans makes the best tasting flan I’ve ever had (all of our guests agreed). Claudia was passionate about the project and the end-product was both beautiful and delicious, and reasonably priced.“
“I received a gift card so I bought $10 worth of ice cream. The homemade flavors with real ingredients and lots of cream make for uniquely delicious ice cream. Don't get me wrong; I love BR's bubblegum cones, but this stuff is old school natural food. The waffle cones are great, too.“
“My husband & I had a wonderful experience here. We got so lucky to not have to wait in a line out the door the owner had said. They had a Churro flavor I hadn't seen and I loved it. We got the chocolate/vanilla dipped, Fruity Pebbles waffle cone (wow, I know). “I visited this location for the first time today. When I walked.in, a family of 4 were already waiting at the ice cream counter. A young.lady was working near the register on something else. It was until after we stood there for more than 5 minutes, I realized the family who was standing at the ice cream counter when I walked in had not been helped yet. Another couple walked in and stood behind us. Fortunately, shortly after that, a young man came out of the back and advised the young lady near the registers not to worry about what she was doing right now because the line was backing up. She promptly switched gears and helped the family of 4 in front of us. Thank goodness!Now it's my turn, I asked for the "Everybody's" (triple pint) to go of sweet cream with all mixins to be dark chocolate shavings. I did get the sweet cream with dark chocolate shavings, but didn't mix in all of my dark chocolate shavings. She mixed in some and then added the rest of my mixins on top at the end. That I do not like. Just mix it all in please. I'll be more careful about watching when I return to ensure that doesn't happen again.Overall, I think this is a nice location with additional sweets and treats available that aren't available at other locations. Definitely stop by and show some love to this location. Just.be prepared to wait and make sure you watch and get what you want.“
“I believe Madison was the name of the girl that helped me, short brunette girl. She was absolutely fantastic, knew the answers to every question I asked, and she convinced me to come back for a birthday cake for my moms birthday on July 30th, which I wouldn’t have considered before. Definitely deserving of more than she’s getting paid for all that she put into my visit. Kudos to her!“
