“Two enthusiastic thumbs up for Pete's Diner! They very kindly arranged to deliver a turkey dinner today to my brother (who lives in Dunedin and is recovering at home after surgery). Well, they delivered a delicious meal at 2:30pm and it was truly a HOMEMADE dinner. It was EXCEPTIONAL! From the turkey, to the gravy, stuffing, mashed potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce and pumpkin pie with whipped cream--it was a homemade feast. We are deeply grateful to Pete's Diner for the extraordinary Thanksgiving dinner they prepared, and delivered!!!!“

“This place was great! I ordered takeout at the bar from Leah. Service was outstanding, food preparation was fast, and it was delicious. I got the hogfish and loaded fries. The fish was outstanding! Fries were excellent. Portion sizes are very generous. I ended up here because of a rough experience at a neighboring restaurant and I'm glad it happened. I'll definitely come by when I'm in town again.“

“I was new to Dunedin in February, 2025, and within 2 months, was invited for Brunch in April and 3 more times since for Breakfast too. We will be hosting a 70th Anniversary Party in late September for a Couple who eats there regularly, and requested to celebrate their special Day with you. I can see why. “Loved this local diner. Had BLT. Seated promptly in a comfy booth. Great service - refilled my soda without asking. Good fast and sandwich good. Fries could have used a little more draining, some oil on the plate, but no big deal. Everyone seemed to be a regular customer. Give it a try rather than fast food!“

“02/02/25: My son and I come here for breakfast regularly, hence the good review below I left a while back. Our last visit was the worst experience I've ever had at any restaurant and I left a pretty scathing review that was deserved by that server. Today we came in and saw the server, so I quietly asked the hostess to not seat us in her section and she happily obliged. Our food and service were great. When we went to pay the bill, the General Manager happened to be our cashier and asked if things were better this time and if we had our bad visit taken care of and I advised that we paid last time, I just didn't leave a tip. He didn't charge us for our meal today, so I left a good tip for our server. Management here really knows how to right a wrong and I very much appreciated it. We love Bob Evans and will be back time and time again.

I come here pretty often and the staff is always wonderful. Everything on their menu is good but my favorite is the sausage gravy and biscuits. They have the BEST in all the land. I like to get it with a side of bacon, they have the best bacon too. You can't go wrong with this Bob Evans. Always very clean and inviting.

Kid-friendliness: Lots of options for kids and I think it's Tuesday nights that kids eat free too. Nice family restaurant.“
