Joey's New York Pizza & Italian Restaurant

Slower service , appeared short of staff. Chichen soup was hot and tasty but the main meal was served warm, not hot. sent back, 9 minutes later, came back barely warm. When we got home, bread rolls missing from our to go order . Used to be one of our favorite Palm Harbor dining choices.

Never eatin there and never would. The place looks disgusting. The one time I did go over there to speak to someone to complain about the gas smell permeating from their building it seems like nothing but children running the place. There was no one to have an adult conversation with nor professional.

The fire department has been called multiple times. It's been reported multiple times but I am now documenting every single time. I am exposed to propane to negligence on y'all's part

I am documenting blood and oxygen levels from gas exposure and I will sue y'all because you refuse to fix the damn problem and I am tired of not being able to work out in peace because our saunas always smell like gas and God bless the poor owner. She has tried everything to fix it so now us members will take the matters into our own hands and you will get sued if you don't fix the problem

My friends and I did not have a good experience with the food or server. We received cold our appetizers cold. The server wrote nothing on paper when he took our orders hence, he forgot my meal. Atmosphere is nice but what is it worth when you have a server who brings you cold appetizers and forgets your meal. We will not return

I've never been lied to about how long it would take an order to be finished. 3 min turned into 25 min, then another 5 for a missing item. So frustrating to be so casually disregarded, peoples time is valuable.

This restaurant has never let us down. It is by far one of the best, in the Tampa Bay area. My only request would be...Please, would you start serving coffee?...It would go so well with your desserts.

Great food, but this place is always very busy, so be prepared to wait at least a 1/2 hour to be seated. Service is usually pretty good. Nice atmosphere.

We've used delivery thru Slice 3 times, the first 2 it arrived 30-45 min after the 1 hour time given. Last night it was 2 hours! The first delivery guy text a couple times apologizing, said it's always like this, they don't prioritize delivery orders. He gave up after an hour of waiting, we told Slice who said it would be delivered in 10-15 minutes but it took another 45 minutes. I'll never order from them again.

Ate there last night for the first time, highly disappointed. The wait staff took forever to come to our table, waited some more to have our drinks ordered. Our waiter was neglectful, forgetful, unattended, very slow & all over the place. Had to ask for the bread that came with our meals twice. Food was mediocre. The soap dispenser in the ladies room was empty so was the paper towel dispenser. The floor in the dining area was dirty & sticky. No one seems to be supervising the staff & it showed. Won’t go back nor will recommend. If you want great Italian food, go to Umberto’s in Dunedin!

Usually Joey's is all 5☆. Not tonight. The ceaser salad had way too much dressing on it. The server walked past my empty ice tea glass twice. The server forgot to give us bread so she made it to go when we paid our bill. The main course was perfect.
We will not give up on Joey's. I hope they deal with quality control.

We've been going to Joey's for years. Decided we would use them to cater a bridal shower. Chicken Picata turns out to be Ala Carte, even though the catering menu doesn't mention that. I asked the representative I'm ordering with if the Chicken Picata comes with a pasta. I'm told it does so I order a pasta to go with it. Two days later, five minutes before picking the order up, I get a call from someone at Joey's telling me "you know the pasta you ordered with your Chicken Picata is extra? Do you still want it?" I've got 2 dozen people expecting more than just a protein with their salad and garlic knots, of course I still want it. But apparently the management has no room to make an executive decision to make things right. I wasn't asking for the tray of angel hair pasta for free, even though I was told when I ordered it that it was part of the charges. I said I had no issue paying half seeing that the order should have been explained when I placed my order, but I need the food now. But no, I'm told by the manager he has to speak with someone else to see what can be done. That someone else would not be now, but some time whenever. Who does that? It's not the extra cost that bothers me, but the fact that Joey's should have taken the initiative right then and there to do the right thing. I was basically told take it or leave it. Not only will I never cater from Joey's again, I'm going to dine elsewhere instead. Terrible customer service.

We went about 2 weeks ago and the pizza was great! Taste delicious! I had the shrimp scampi over pasta. It was phenomenal, for once I found a restaurant that doesn't overkill with oil at all. And with real sauce too. Thank you so much! The staff was also so very kind and attentive. As well compliments to the chefs!

Pizza dough seemed premade or over cooked. Not edible. Tried it a second time and same result. Will not be trying again.
