I like Charlie’s Happy Corn, it is one of my favorite places to go too. The food is good. The guy in the front is always nice. The only complaint I would have is every time I go the tables are always extremely dirty. The paper towels dispenser is always out of paper which sucks too so it’s not like you can clean the tables yourself. The floors look like it’s never been cleaned. Otherwise, I would say the quality of the food is good, just minor things like cleanliness makes a big difference. Ordered nachos, pepinos locos, and mangonadas. The pic is how I received the nachos….. where is the cheese??? The pepinos locos the chamoy was watery it was nasty not worth eating and then the mangonada barley had anything in it. I don’t know if it was just a bad day or they were just too busy and couldn’t keep up but this is by far very disappointing. Then parking is so terrible now. I won’t be back for a while. Truly disappointed.
I went in and ordered 4 ice creams 1 fruit cup and 1 cholada. The fruit cup was messy and it had mango, watermelon and pineapple. The mango taste like onions, very very strongly and the watermelon was flavorless. The cholada was super messy with the wrong ice cream and while eating it found a piece of cheese in it. The way the lady at the register spoke to me was very rude (acting like I'm an idiot for not knowing that you dont pick the ice cream flavor until they call you for your order, she could have told me in a way nicer tone and without rolling her eyes like 3 times) The owners brother served the ice cream, he was very kind and very good at following the instructions of the ice cream but in all honestly other than him everything else was a disaster. I really recommend you don't hire people that dont know the importance of customer service for your business to keep its good appearance and also keep the vegetables away from fruit. I spoke spanish the whole entire tome so it definitely wasn't a communication issue.

I love this place! But the service is not good... I called to place an order and the girl put me on hold for 6 minutes until she decided to hang up and try to call again and the phone did not continue working... I imagine that she did not hang up the phone on her part and the phone stayed on and the call didn't come through. You mean that in those 20 minutes that I was delayed from my house to Charlie's I didn't remember that he left me on hold. I called 20 times until I had to go in person to order.

I was very disappointed as I was craving the raspadito. I left it like that as I didn’t see the manager/owner nor did I want to cause a discussion.

Worst snow cone. My husband went in and ordered 2 but they took 15 minutes to hand him one for $7 and I found like 5 specks of god knows what in it. If I could leave no stars I would, it’s extremely dirty and I was skeptical about going based on the bad reviews I read in the first place. If you’re considering going, definitely save your money.

Low expectations and HIGH results. This place has it all. I got tostilocos and a rapasado. The corn was ROASTED and full of flavor... everything I had hoped for and more. Friendly service, I felt very welcomed. Place was clean and smelled great. 100% will return once my arteries unclog ... totally worth it.

Located in a somewhat unsafe neighborhood. Driving through at night feels very sketchy. We must have seen 5 cop cars in less than a mile on our way here. Which at least is something. The staff barely can speak/understand English. We had a little trouble ordering because there was something lost in translation. The selection of items they have is amazing. The store doesn't look super clean, but they do have mangonadas which is what we were looking for. The mangoes were really good, but the icy mango lacked sweetness of those we've had in California and Mexico. It was very sour. We want to go back and try some of the other fruit offerings but possibly in the day time.
Delicious snacks & friendly staff. Small menu but everything is amazing. 100 percent Recommended
