This place is a fantastic locals joint with a bit of a coastal roadhouse theme, diverse american menu, and great service. The only catch is that they charge for using your credit card. So take cash because the prices are good if you pay in cash. You won't be disappointed.

?For years, a friend has told me about this hidden gem in Palm Springs (a town just a few minutes North of Lake Worth) called McKenna's Place [4068 Forest Hill Blvd, Palm Springs, FL]. The scoop was that it’s a typical Irish Pub with not so typical food. After visiting with a few friends, we can all confirm — it’s SUPER special. Family owned for many years, the team was lovely and the food truly exceeded our expectations.Have you ever seen Shepard’s Pie Potato Skins? I hadn’t — brilliant IMO. The “Shaz Way” wings [tossed in medium wing sauce, lemon pepper, garlic and parmesan] are something to behold. The Shrimp Alfredo was so fresh and clearly made to order — we proclaimed it was as good as any top notch Italian restaurant.If you live near this place and can stop by or order in — do it. Not only are you supporting a local, family run business — but their food is absolutely delicious. Can’t wait to return.

So start off with my cons. Their Irish Car Bomb wasn't made right and did leave me hurting. Maybe that was me. Maybe that was the creme being off a bit + the odd smell on the place. I feel hard pressed to judge to harshly on that. My other drink the McKenna Mermaid was nice. On the drive home with the window open I instantly felt better and ate my food from the take out box. It was all what you would expect. Nothing was poorly made. Everyone else who was at my table also enjoyed their food.Our server Jennifer was very friendly and attentive. Granted the place was a little empty but regardless she made the experience great.Although we didn't sit at the bar, we could over hear Azure being very talkative with everyone seated over there. Super friendly woman. 100% would make me feel welcome at the bar seating.Don't want the one bad drink that may of just been me spoil my review of the place so will 100% be going back and giving them another look.Only other complaint, maybe more Irish bar, folk, or modern music from Irish artists.

The Slider Burgers and Fries are pretty Tasty. But definitely SKIP the Spinach & Artichoke Dip! Its the worst I've ever had. I'm sure that if I didn't say what it was, no one would have been able to even guess it... But, I'm gonna give 2 stars, instead of 0, because this mishap was probably was just an oversight.
