“My wife and I decided on Mexican for our Friday night dinner date and I found this quaint family spot using Google. We’re glad we tried it and the only reason I don’t give it 5 stars for food is because my Birria tacos were a bit too greasy. My wife’s food was Tacos Al Pastor which was very good. We did a taco swap for sampling each other’s plate as we normally do. I’m not very fond of pineapple but her taco was better. The Birria tacos are made with crispy shells and they’re loaded with cheese which I think creates the greasiness with juices from the meat during baking or grilling as they may be heated but if you like that, you may really enjoy them. Very street-taco like. Los Bandoleros is a fast / self serve type restaurant where you order at the counter but the service was excellent with our order-taker kindly bringing our food to our table. We’ll definitely be back.

Kid-friendliness: Los Bandoleros has a family atmosphere where the dining area opens up from the service and cooking areas. There were a couple of families with their kids dining there together during our visit.“

“In the rain we were going home hungry and we passed by them without looking for them. I have always been a fan of Mexican food and when I saw it, I said, oh! We could try here (and avoid cooking ???), we approached and Javier came underwater to bring us the menu. We ordered chicken flautas and tacos al pastor. We took it to go because it was raining and we were close to home. When we finished, we had to call Marisela and Javier on the phone to congratulate them on such a delicious meal. Excellent quality, flavor and service!! Luckily for us, they are close to home, we will make it a habit to eat their food often. Take note that you are now on 157th Ave and 120th SW. “An absolute hidden gem! I found about this place when I ran into the Kwik Stop for something. Mexican food is my absolute favorite cuisine and I'm known to be a bit judgemental about it, upon first glance it doesn't look like much but a little counter with two stools and a grill behind it. I decided to come back to try the chilaquiles and an horchata. I looked at the menu for sopes which were not there and I asked the man behind the counter if he has them and he told me to give him extra 5 minutes and he would whip them up for me. Beyond kind and accommodating! The food is fresh and prepared right in front of you. He offered me two hot sauces to go with my meal and packaged everything to go. I took it home and enjoyed every single bite! Will be my regular spot from now on for a quick Mexican bite ?“

“The quesa birria tacos could only be better if made with goat vs. beef. Even the consumme was delicious! The bistro was super thin and pretty chewy. The flavor was good but more like jerky. The beans and rice were so so. The tortillas were excellent. The salsa bar was superb.“

“Stopped here for dinner after work. It’s a taco truck with multiple outdoor tables set up. We arrived about 30 minutes before they were scheduled to close, but we were still given a friendly greeting by the owner who sat us down and brought us chips and salsa. We ended up ordering tacos, which were delicious! We asked for our check early to make sure we didn’t delay them closing, but he was in no rush and even offered to wait for us if we wanted dessert. “Placed my order online. I was not expecting it to be ready by the time I arrived but when I got there they told me they never heard my order go in. I didn’t mind waiting but I felt there were so rushed to give me my order then just packed the quesadillas with no sauces or anything. I overheard them talking about not having tops for something which I’m guessing were for the sauces. The food was good just not the most efficient service“
