This casual Italian restaurant is our favorite for pizza, salad, and other Italian favorites. Everything is made fresh here. They immediately bring delicious foccacia bread with dipping oil to your table after you order at the counter from their menu. The kitchen is seen from the dining room. So food comes out very fast. They have a separate bakery with gelato choices, too! Their Italian chocolate cake is unforgettable! We bring our visiting guests to this restaurant at Riverview, Florida. This is a franchise name with other locations. We've only been at this location close to our home in Sun City Center, FL. You will be so happy to experience Mandola's!

Awful service, we ordered $72 worth of food from doordash and it was made, dasher went to pickup food, we waited 10 minutes and then order was cancelled, we tried again and cancelled AGAIN!! We ordered at 9 pm (its open until 2 am) and its now 10 pm, everyones hangry and we haven’t received food, AT ALL. Dashers were super nice, one even messaged me to say he was second in line for pick up and then wham i get a notification that it was cancelled, I really want an answer as to why?It looks like such a fun place and it also happened to be the closest and cheapest place near us, i would’ve been fine if the food was awful but i didn't even get to try it, everyone is PISSED.
Food was excellent, even though we we right at lunch time service was quick.

Rude cashier and very rude lady employee that makes the food with a bad attitude. "Checker burger, cheese only" and she's giving me attitude because she messed up my burger by loading it up. Instead of taking it out on me why don't you learn how to read! The burger is cold and the cheese slice isn't melted and the chicken bites are overcooked and are so tough you can break some teeth trying to chew it.

Was just at this checkers location at 10:20pm tonight and was extremely dissatisfied! I go to pull into this Checker’s only entrance and there’s a huge semi truck delivering to them with their unloading ramp blocking over 80% of the drive thru so no cars can pull in. A car that was right in front of me with a large lifted up SUV winds up jumping the tall curb so they could pull in, but I drive a small Toyota Camry which is much lower to the ground, so there’s no way I’d be able to jump curb.But I go ahead and give checkers the benefit of the doubt knowing that it’s not really their fault their delivery truck decided to do that, so I went ahead and parked in the parking lot, and went walking up to the “walk up” window to order there instead. Upon getting there I see a white sheet of printer paper written on with messy sharpie handwriting saying I quote “Close to Training” which I assume meant they had the walk up window closed due to training, even though that doesn’t make any sense to me why they couldn’t run a window because of that.But regardless I finally get one of the workers attention at the window and he gestures and says “closed”. I then very calmly and nicely say, ok but I can’t pull in because of the semi. In which he rudely flails his arms and says “well they pulled in” pointing to the big SUV, I then say I’m in a low to the ground car and my car can’t jump the curb. He then just looks at me and shrugs his shoulders.I go ahead and just start walking away slowly, still trying to compute in my brain the lack of common sense especially since there’s only the one car in the drive thru, and they’re already sitting at the pick up window.Then I kid you not less than 5 secs after me walking away, not even to my car yet, the semi truck driver walks up and gets helped, and places his order at the window. It’s such a slap in the face and at this point I don’t know what to do other than to pick another fast food establishment that will express at least a rudimentary level of common sense and customer service.
They really try to put out a good product.
