Pelican's SnoBalls of Palmetto and Ice Cream

I'm in Love with all things Pelican Snoballs!!
I take all visiting family and friends to the one closest to me, every time. I love all the options and friendly staff.

Came in on a sunday 6/28/26 and the woman behind the counter looked visibly pissed off that we ordered. No manners or enthusiasm. Always willing to give a place another shot but if you cant provide customer service dont be in it at all. It might be a job to some but to others its a business. And when thats the face that greets you its a turn off.

We have frequented many Pelicans and I can confidently say this is the worst one we have ever been to. When we turned off 8th our first thought was the place was closed due to the overgrown weeks and lack of maintenance outside. We saw the open sign flashing so we pulled in. After about 5 minutes of waiting we knocked on the window a few times and got no answer. After a few more minutes a man finally came to the window to help us. There was no soft serve ice cream, no spoons for the large size cups, no whip cream, and no sweet cream. He couldn’t remember what two flavors we ordered after about 30 seconds and it took him a solid 15 minutes to make 2 SnoBalls. Very disappointed. Management needs to do better or this place definitely won’t be around long.

Always take my kids here. Staff is super friendly and they never mind throwing in an extra gummy or two for my babies.!

I truly love Pelican's... please get an employee who can make more than 4 regular cups in less than an hour.... waited from 3:45 till 4:30.... ridiculous...

get the stuffed snowball, you won't believe it's shaved ice...

Definitely disappointed, I've tried this place before twice in a different area and it was exceptional but this place is totally lacking. Looking outside it looked closed and the service was very awkward making it hard to order, the taste was not the same as other locations being not as flavorful and being told they were getting rid of the icecream. I could tell as my snoball was 2/3 the icecream which was also not very good as the ratio was off. Just a very lack luster icecream and lack luster place in whole. Yellow rope around the poles make it look like a crime scene. Better locations in florida for Pelicans snoball

The BEST Snowballs in Florida! Pelican’s SnoBalls of Palmetto is amazing! So many flavors, all soft, sweet, and bursting with taste. The staff is friendly, the vibe is great, and every visit feels like a treat. My favorite? Too many to choose from — you’ll just have to try them all!

Worst service I've ever had their today and I've been there many times. Almost certain it's because I wasn't a Mexican and she made that clear

I love this place, the flavors are incredible, but it's even better when the girl serves you. This time when I came back, the guy who served me forgot to add the condensed milk and charged me the extra cost for the condensed milk. Everything else was delicious.

Best experience here snowcone was good but the service was better. Sweetest girls helped us out they were very helpful with the order and nice. Highly recommend coming here 05/18/2025 6:30 pm

Great place to get an icy cool treat. Place is very clean, great employees that have great recommendations as well.
