Chef Dee's Smoked Tuna

If you want authentic Cajun food you need go no farther than Dee's. Even the waitstaff is authentic. We were seated quickly at our favourite round table for six. The waitress explained menu items, took our drink orders, and brought our various menu items quickly. Everyone ordered something different and we all liked what we had.

Friends recommended this place to us and they were right. The best meal we had all week. Went between 4 and 6 for the early bird specials and the hang out platter was really great seafood (fried oysters, flounder and shrimp). Others ordered off of the regular menu and their food was also great. This is the second time we have tried Dee’s Hangout and both the food and service are absolutely outstanding. My wife ordered the blackened grouper with cheese grits and I had the Cajun platter which consists of fish, red beans and rice, crawfish etouffee and gumbo.
