If you want authentic Cajun food you need go no farther than Dee's. Even the waitstaff is authentic. We were seated quickly at our favourite round table for six. The waitress explained menu items, took our drink orders, and brought our various menu items quickly. Everyone ordered something different and we all liked what we had.

Best Tuna dip in town, hands down. You can even buy the plain smoked tuna and make it for big parties!

Friends recommended this place to us and they were right. The best meal we had all week. Went between 4 and 6 for the early bird specials and the hang out platter was really great seafood (fried oysters, flounder and shrimp). Others ordered off of the regular menu and their food was also great. The hang bang shrimp appetizer, the kids meal and the poboy sandwiches (shrimp and philly steak) were not only good but very large. Located in the strip center right across from Edgewater Beach Resort which is where we stay. Will now be a go to place every time we come to Florida.

This is the second time we have tried Dee’s Hangout and both the food and service are absolutely outstanding. My wife ordered the blackened grouper with cheese grits and I had the Cajun platter which consists of fish, red beans and rice, crawfish etouffee and gumbo. The portions are very large and we both were unable to finish our meals. The food was perfectly cooked and they serve it anyway you want it without an up charge. I’ve had their fish blackened and grilled and both were delicious. The restaurant is very kid friendly and people come dressed in everything from church clothes to beach bums. Our waitress was wonderful and the drink specials even better. We will definitely be back everytime we come to Panama City Beach.

When we wandered in for dinner the wait was around 30 minutes- but they suggested there was open seating at the bar. The live music was nice and truly in the background. Our bartender made a few solid recommendations. We had the lemon butter shrimp and the popcorn shrimp platter, along with the she crab soup and French bread. These were excellent. The French fries and cheesey grits weren’t great but the hush puppies were delicious. We got a banana pudding and key lime pie to go — both really good too!

I must say, Dees has, hands down, the best She-crab soup in Panama City Beach. I have had she-crab soup at many PCB restaurants, and Dees just can’t be beat. I will return time after time just for a bowl of this soup. The staff are friendly and the service is great, also!

Great low key spot with excellent food! This was some of the most authentic SheCrab Soup that I’ve ever had! The Shrimp PoBoy was dripping with shrimp, the French bread was clearly fresh baked and the Grouper sandwich!!! Yessssss. The service was phenomenal - Mannie was awesome! Prices were right and we will be back!

This wasn’t worth my Time or money. The tuna dip was great. Then my crab cakes ($28) were canned tuna quality instead of lump crab. My husband had some kinda seafood platter with catfish but he said it wasn’t catfish. The kids had chicken tender and pop corn shrimp. It was all pretty much wasted and the bill was $130.

To be one of the top rated seafood restaurants in PCB it wasn’t anything to write home about. The food was mediocre at best. My wife got the seafood platter and it was subpar. The crab cakes were mostly filler and a little doughy. The flounder on the plate was decent and the shrimp was good. The she-crab soup was good but the bread with it was hard. I had the steak and it was thin and a little tough. Overall the meal was not worth the bill and slightly disappointing.

Family of five, one non-seafood eater and a very picky five year old in the mix. With that being said this has been the best meal from a restaurant we have ever had!!! My anti-seafood child got the southern fried chicken sandwich and was not fishy. Five-old loved the shrimp kids meal! Our server, Anthony, was very attentive to our table. Atmosphere was excellent and wait time was short. Food fresh and yummy! Whole family super stuffed and brought food home! Can not say enough good things about this place! Go there and enjoy!!

Fresh seafood, plentiful and great atmosphere. Sit in the back near the bar they have a live band. We went twice the week we were there and both times we didn't had to wait to be seated. Food came out quick

My son and I had the she crab soup. It was so good. I also shared the Key lime pie with husband and it was phenomenal too! We had the nicest and most attentive waiter here. He did such a great job I spoke to the manager about him. Just a wonderful experience

Hidden away in a strip center, we found the largest and freshest portions of seafood. We knew we had stumbled onto something when there were local there. Great fresh seafood and service.
