Went last in June 2018. Had a good time. Used to go every year for spring break in college during the late 90's-early 00's. Still felt like home. Very sad it's gone. Any why? Didn't the place have insurance? And what about all the money it brought in. With it being left abandoned this long, the damage it had definitely has gotten worse. It probably needs rebuilding, not repairing. It's been closed since 2018, and has never reopened. Nothing is even said...
Loved this place from 98 to 2001! Traveled here from Tallahassee (FSU) during my Spring Break those years. Still have many pics from my disposable cameras, there was no social media back then. The good ole days! Go Noles! Long live Club La Vela!
