The waitress was a bit off putting. We arrived around 8pm and could quickly tell she was tired and ready to be done with her shift. Still not an excuse to be rude to customers. We had the buffalo oysters which were delicious and easily the best oysters of the trip. Everything else was basic pub fare, deep fried in bland batter and nothing special. The bang bang shrimp sauce was even lacking a good flavor. Enjoyed the option of fried okra as a side though!

I had an absolutely exceptional experience at Hammerhead Fred’s! The staff went above and beyond to work around my needs and make sure my husband and I had the relaxing dinner we were hoping for. There was live music playing, which was great, but when we asked if there was a quieter spot available, they kindly moved us so we could enjoy our meal in peace.

Ate here after a long day of traveling. Had somw drinks and oysters. Had the captain's platter which was average for a bunch of fried food. One person in our group had a steak that was not cooked to her liking. Atmosphere is good thought but we could definitely had an all you can eat buffet for 4 people for what we paid here. Too pricey but average for this area.
