I went to their deli part not the sit down restaurant. But let me tell you they had so many cool things from fresh cuts of meat to spices, desserts, fresh herbs, all kinds of sauces, seasonings, rubs and so much more. A lot of items from foreign cuisine to cook with. Just fabulous. I got a pound of dried aged beef sliced thin for a charcuterie I was doing and it was sooooo good! The man who helped me with my purchase went above and beyond to help me find what I wanted and then sliced it for me. If you like to cook you must visit this shop!

Food is good for the area but does not meet a 4.7 rating expectation and pricing. Decent but not spectacular.

After living in this area for nearly five years, I had reluctantly accepted that the local dining scene simply wasn’t comparable to what I had experienced on the West Coast or in some of the world’s great food destinations. I assumed I would have to settle for the typical Florida fare — with deep-fried seafood being the highlight.

Then I discovered Hunter and Gather, and my expectations were completely turned upside down.

This was, without exaggeration, one of the most exceptional dining experiences I’ve had in my life. Every detail reflects a true commitment to quality — from the luxurious, thoughtfully sourced ingredients to the precision and care in every preparation. Each dish was executed flawlessly, showcasing skill, balance, and a deep respect for the food itself.

While the price point is higher than some local options, it is absolutely justified. This is not simply a meal; it is an experience that rivals some of the best restaurants I’ve encountered during my travels.

I consider myself a very discerning diner, having enjoyed incredible cuisine across the country and around the world, and Hunter and Gather genuinely impressed me. It is a rare find — the kind of restaurant that raises the standard for an entire area.

Love this place so much! We’ve been going since they had the Nomad food truck & were hooked ever since. Love the cozy atmosphere, the servers are always spot on- David, Tracey, and so many others! The food is consistently good and so unique to the area. Derek and Tiffany are so welcoming! We always recommend this place, it’s a staple for locals.

I never leave reviews and to be honest when we first pulled up to Hunt and Gather we said we’d check it out and leave if it we weren’t sold on it. As soon as you walk in the door the expectations change. The atmosphere is great, the staff were great and the food may have been the best restaurant meal I’ve ever had. We got lamb lollipops, my wife had the filet and I had the Elk Loin. It was all fantastic. Cannot recommend more. The prices weren’t cheap but for once the food felt worth it and then some.

The atmosphere was so relaxed yet sophisticated. The lighting is warm, the decor is fun to admire and the space is welcoming. I sat at the bar nearest to the grill area. James was our bartender. Personality on 10 and his service was 100! Every ingredient was fresh and flavorful, crafted with exotic flavor combinations and I enjoyed every dish I had. Oyster trio, fried okra, red snapper ceviche, and heirloom tomato salad. Definitely going back again soon.

It was the worst service I ever had in my life the manager is very ignorant my soup was cold I don't care about about money but you I want something else to do the soup and I said yeah I'll take the white guy sandwiches sliders and she tried to charge me for the soup but I didn't need any sliders it was terrible and she was very ignorant

Haven't had Hunt and Gather since I left 4 years ago, but it's just as good as I remember. Duck Confit Fries = Amazing. Elk Burger = Can't miss. One of the best places to eat in PCB, hands down

That elk burger was the best burger Ive I've had in a long time. My wife kept stealing a bite off my plate. It's a small place, so there is a little of a wait, but worth it. Our server was nice and inviting too.
