San Marcos isnt as great as it used to be, food was bland compared to before. Ice cream tasted like it was freezer burned being prepped in a bowl and put back into the freezer

Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. The food was served cold and the nachos that my son and I ordered were just chips with melted mozzarella cheese on top, which was not what we expected. The fajitas had far more vegetables than meat making the portion feel unbalanced. On top of that our server never came back to refill our drinks or check on us to see if we needed anything. Overall, the food and service did not meet our expectations.

Got the Don Pepe Plate and found a bug in the salad… completely threw my appetite off. The staff should do a better job at cleaning their produce and making sure there are no bugs in the salad. I will never come back here again.

This was my favorite Mexican restaurant that we visited while we were in the area (we went to 3 in total). The food was absolutely delicious! The salsa was phenomenal... it was so flavorful and had the perfect amount of spice. We got some cheese dip as well - super yummy. One thing to note is the kid's meals do NOT come with a drink; we were not told this as we were ordering. A downside was we felt like our server was rushing us. As soon as we sat down, he wanted us to order. We had never been to this restaurant before, so we definitely needed more time to browse the menu. We went during a super busy time, so I kind of get him wanting to turn tables quickly (we were there less than 45 mins). Other than that feeling of being rushed, we loved it here. We were almost tempted to go again just to try more options!
