I had to complain to management 4 times about the noise level of our neighbors starting the day we arrived. Manager brushed it off like we were the problem. We weren’t the ones with a noisy alarm going off for OVER AN HOUR at 7 am. If you are looking for sleep at all on vacation I don’t recommend this place.

This was our first time visiting and we loved every minute of it. We will be back! Staff was friendly, room was clean and updated and we had a blast!

My Worst “Resort” Experience Ever ★☆☆☆☆ (1 star) I rarely feel this disgusted after a single phone call, but Sandpiper Beacon Beach Resort earns every bit of this! ⸻ ❌ Abysmal Customer Service • One call, one star: I placed a simple call with questions about their website—and the receptionist was so rude and dismissive that it soured my entire impression. She offered zero help, seemed utterly uninterested in even basic information, and made me hang up in frustration. ⸻ 🏚️ Decaying, Grimy Accommodations • Ancient décor: The rooms look like they haven’t been updated in 50 years—faded wallpaper, scratched furniture, and peeling paint around the dresser and shower. • Overpowering stench: A musty, damp odor hit me as soon as I opened the door, like a mix of mildew and stale cigarettes. • Faulty front door: It wouldn’t latch, so it swung open and closed all night, letting in rain, noise, and pests. ⸻ 🚭 Smoke‑Filled “Non‑Smoking” Hallways I specifically booked a non‑smoking room in a non‑smoking building, yet the entire hallway reeked of cigarette smoke and guests were openly puffing outside my door. ⸻ 💥 Hostile On‑Site Environment When I arrived, it was pouring rain—and I witnessed the manager and tenant hurling the N‑word at each other and threats of brandishing a gun in a terrifying confrontation. I have never felt so unsafe anywhere. ⸻ Avoid this place at all costs—it’s not a resort, it’s a crumbling, poorly run apartment block masquerading as a vacation spot. One atrocious phone call was all it took: a single star.

I recently went on my bachelor trip to pcb and we had booked a house through Sandpiper Beacon and made a down payment. Upon arrival we were told we can’t get it due to us not being 25 years old. We saw nothing stating that we had to be 25 years old till after we already booked so therefore they would not even give us our down payment back when it shouldn’t have even let us book it if we were not 25 years old. I HIGHLY DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY AT THE SANDPIPER!!!!!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY IN A HEART BEAT!!

If it was possible to leave a no star I would. I recently stayed with my mama and we've stayed there since I was a young child. This last visit will most definitely be my last time ever staying. A group of young teens were up to no good and one young lady literally took my mamas shoes and when calling the office she was told I'm sorry and that was all that was done. Sad just really sad childhood favorite has now become a place of feeling unsettled and like no one even cares! Disappointed that a crappy situation has ruined such a decent place that "seemed" safe and family oriented.

We enjoyed meeting with our friends here and being able to sit and chat. Walk on the beach, games to play and plenty of seating, with great drinks and friendly staff.

There is no food here, it's a snack bar around the corner, which is ok. The drinks are expensive and not very good. They have no idea about any entertainment coming up and never did have any live music like advertised. They did have the Polynesian dancers and karaoke that had a horrible sound system throughout the whole week we were there. The selling point of the resort is the fun place that you don't have to leave or go anywhere else, but that's just not true.
