Service was slow for an empty restaurant at lunch. Prices were average. No substitutions or changes to the lunch menu was rather annoying. And only the first round of chips was free- I hate that! Food just didn't seem to have much flavor anyway.
If you have been apprehensive about going in... don't be. The facade may not be like all the glossy churn and burn restaurants but that is a good thing. We ordered the pork carnitas ($7 on sale) and a chili relleno. I had basically stopped ordering chili rellenos because most places serve something that comes frozen in a box. Not Old Mexico. The pepper had a great mild spicy flavor. The carnitas must have been mom's recipe. Not the standard fair one usually gets at Mexican restaurant...read full review
Fairly mediocre Mexican restaurant. You'd be safe to order anything off the menu but then again none of the items are really interesting anyways. They all taste the same just like every Mexican restaurant in the south. I might go here again but try to order something with unique or really spicy.
