As always great food and service...Hunter was great. Could do without the piped in rock music...doesn't fit with the ambiance of the restaurant.
As a regular diner at the Grand Marlin, the experience and food are always above average but the recent experience was excellent. The seared flounder special was outstanding, and 2 of my guests were pleased to see scallops back on the menu. They were excellent as well. Our server was attentive without being distracting and the birthday dessert was yummy. Excellent evening all the way around!
My family and friends and I all make reservations for a Grand Marlin meal while being at the beach. The food is excellent, the staff couldn't be more accommodating and have wonderful food suggestions and the dining room itself is lovely, especially in the late afternoon as the boats are coming in.
It was near the end of the evening & I was dining solo and placed almost in my own area so I was able to have a fairly quiet dining experience. The food & service though were very good. To my surprise I received a healthy portion of Key Lime Pie for dessert... Not that I'm complaining. As a visitor to the area I can see why it rates so highly and would definitely come back.
Peter was our waiter and just made the experience great! View was wonderful too - thank you
The food was absolutely wonderful! Our waiter was fantastic! He was very proficient and used good wait time between check-ins. This was my 2nd visit and it did not disappoint!!
Great food and great time! Will go here every time my family is in town. fantastic!
Atmosphere was definitely heavily touristy and noise level was extremely loud. Our server (Kimberly) was friendly, efficient, and professional. The food was just okay. Nothing was great.
Great ambience, good food. Service was average. Great live backgound music. Good choices for a brunch menu, but would suggest a regular bacon/sausage, eggs, toast, & potato choice as well Excellent place to take guests from out of town.
Always a great dinner at The Grand Marlin! The food is top notch and their praline basket for dessert is always a must!

Our food was really good! Our waitress was really friendly and very attentive. The drink were great. We enjoyed the atmosphere sitting on the upper deck.
Asked to be seated upstairs when we were seated downstairs by a window looking at a air conditioner outside The new manager seated us and and didn't bother on moving us
The entire experience was phenomenal! Our waiter was extremely knowledgeable about the dishes and made the best recommendations. The atmosphere was nice. We were seated at a table next to the windows and were able to watch boats coming into the marina. All around a fantastic experience.
My husband loved the salmon and said it was cooked perfectly. I got the pesto pasta with shrimp. I enjoyed it but thought it could've had more shrimp and some bread on the side with it. The calamari appetizer was amazing!
I will never return to this establishment. Management, specially the “Senior Manager” Stephen Gilliland was extremely rude & unprofessional insinuating myself and my party were liars. I call around 3pm to make a reservation for 13 people at 7pm. the lady who answered Said they could do that they could seat us 13 @ 7:15p. NEVER ONCE did she mention it would be 2 seperate tables. I get a text confirmation & email. Again the text and email confirm a table (one- singular) so we get there and they have 2 separate tables. I ask why this wasn’t communicated with me that it would be 2 seperate tables (as i would have made a reservation elsewhere if that had been the case). I discuss this with the manager and he told me that I was told on the phone about this “policy of only seating 12 at a table” in which I absolutely wasn’t. The manager then tells me that he doesn’t believe me. And i said “oh so you’re calling me a liar then” and he nodded his head yes and smiled. I told him to pull the recorded phone call and he didnt have anything to say in response. We left and had the best time at Captain Anderson’s.
