I went a while back and wasnt going to write a review until I saw how vile the owner is, not only to his employees, but also anyone with even a minor criticism.
As someone who is very in touch with what is/isn't good food, this place is below par to say the least. "The Cafe" is overselling the fact that I've had better food at student camps and cafeterias. Dry meat, no depth of flavor (unless salt and pepper count), and overpriced for what tasted like food from served right from the can.
Service was good but gets HEAVILY dinged by the fact that the owner Greg is extremely rude online. Not like Windy's Twitter, more like an angry reddit mod.
Dont let the 4.4 stars fool you, he is also known for removing reviews and silencing any kind if criticism or negativity.
In closing... this is southern comfort food, minus any of the comfort. Choose wisely.

Surprising spot just off 23rd. Food was really good, and is well priced. You can easily get a good breakfast and a coffee for $10. They don’t offer specialty coffee drinks, but it’s a good cup of coffee. My food arrived quickly, and was a good portion (especially for the price). I was a bit shocked to be the only patron. I’ll keep swinging by for a good breakfast.

Excellent food in a quaint hometown cafe with plenty of parking and easy access. They also have patio seating if you prefer. Service was good, and food came out hot, quick, and delicious! I had the Chad's specials. A+!

A very welcoming environment with wonderful home made food and great service. Even had the owner come out and chat for a bit. Amazing experience would love to return if we visit the area again.
