This past weekend my husband and I visited The Local Cafe on 23rd Street by Home Depot. What a fantastic restaurant! I had the meatloaf and my husband had the bbq special. All of the sides were fresh and piping hot and delicious! The mac and cheese was unusual, but a welcome and tasty rendition. Great food, service and atmosphere. Had breakfast and everything was delicious. Hit the spot and a great price for everything. Will be returning soon. Nice to finally find a place that makes you feel at home.

The restaurant is small and tucked away right by Home Depot, but we were seated immediately and they have some nice outdoor seating as well. The food was delicious! Thick bacon, tasty pancakes, and fresh perfectly scrambled eggs. Even the cup of water was refreshing and tasted pure lol. This place was such a treat after missing breakfast at the hotel! Our waitress was attentive and kept the coffee flowing. We will definitely be back next time we're in town!
