This was cooked into our food on the hibachi grill. It was only on one plate, but obviously made contact with everyone’s food. we were only offered the one meal free. nobody ate. we were offered 30% off after we complained. we payed over 100$ for contaminated food

Tokyo delivers a dining experience that feels both exciting and welcoming. The ambiance is vibrant from the moment you walk in with stylish lighting, upbeat energy, and the fun of hibachi-style cooking make it perfect for both a night out with friends or a family celebration.

The menu offers an impressive variety, with something for everyone. From fresh sushi and sashimi to sizzling hibachi dinners, bento boxes, and creative specialty rolls, the options are plentiful and well thought out. No matter your mood, you’ll find a dish that fits.

The staff is gracious and attentive. Your glass is never empty and they check on you throughout the meal, making sure you have everything you need for the Best dining experience.

What stands out most are the portions~ they are more than generous. Plates arrive beautifully presented and packed with flavor, often leaving enough to enjoy leftovers later. Combined with the lively atmosphere and broad selection, it makes Tokyo a spot you’ll want to return to again and again.

Has went down hill poor management no authority for appropriate resolution for poor quality of food. Go to Sakura in Lynn Haven instead!

Family favorite. Our favorite local Japanese restaurant. We love the Hibachi filet, the fried rice, the Hibachi veggies, & the clear soup. We prefer to sit in the quieter dining area and order Hibachi food, rather than sitting at a Hibachi table, so we can hear the conversation. The Hibachi chefs are great, but we’ve seen them countless times, and we prefer the quiet now.

This was the best experience!! The waiter Joe was so personable and asked me and my boyfriend’s names and gave us fist bumps lol. He was so fun! It took awhile to get my boyfriend’s food, but once it all came out it was delicious! We really enjoyed the coconut mojito, crab rangoons, sushi and salmon hibachi. We would definitely enjoy coming here again!

The best hibachi I've had in years. Jack is an amazing waiter and Rob the cook!!! The food was seasoned to perfection didn't need any yum yum or teriyaki. Thanks for such great services!

this whole placebos amazing. The food. Workers. & atmosphere. The workers are very deserving of days off 😂. I enjoyed the storytelling and cool tricks. We came at a Great time with litterally 4 people in and the light are such a vibe. And this is a bit odd but the floors are really nice too it’s like silver hibiscus flowers.

Good food but service of appetizers in the middle of the hibachi meal instead of before, just isn't right.

Was there two weeks ago on vacation. I thought the family would enjoy. Everyone’s steak was tough, the shrimp and scallops were tough and over cooked. Shortly after leaving, my uncle and I were both sick. My sickness lasted two days. The worst $200.00 I ever spent on a meal!

I wish I could give this place more stars, Really I do. I want to love it, but I just can’t. We’ve been here several times before. It’s very hit or miss. More miss thanks hit. This last time that we went, the service started out strong and then got very weak. I don’t know if he got a big table and then deserted us or what? The food is just OK. Nothing to write home about. The floors are very slippery. I don’t know what is going on with the floors. I don’t know if they’re dirty or if it’s just that weird surface that their floors are made out of. Very slippery. And. It’s very loud. We will never go back on a Friday or Saturday night.. Those drums are just way too much for a dinner setting. I’m sure some people love it, but we did not. We will be back, but only because there is a shortage of good places to eat in Panama City without driving to 38A.

Rod(Rob?) the hibachi chef will literally tell you he doesn’t like his job, at first we thought it was him being humorous until the meal progressed. No…he is serious as can be he does not like his job and I pray you don’t get him as a chef because the quality shows. Dude literally brought out the sushi sauce and yum yum sauce straight from manufacturer container (didn’t think anything of it until NO OTHER CHEF has them on their prep carts! lol). Every other chef around us seemed great, enthusiastic, positive, and friendly. Total opposite of what Rod (Rob?) is. I hope he’s able to find comfort in his employment soon so you won’t have to suffer his self-pity that he literally brings to the table. The family beside us said he overcooked their food last time, as well. We will not return to this establishment & hope to find somewhere else that can employ someone who can at least pretend to make a special occasion on Father’s Day in front of 2 families with kids.
