Tom’s used to be one of the best and most affordable spots in Panama City, but they’ve completely lost it. They advertise combos with dogs, chips, and drinks, and which are already overpriced, but the dweeb at the register rings everything up à la carte. A bag of chips is now $2.75, so a footlong chili dog, chips, and a drink ends up costing over $15. If they’d actually honor the combo, it would be a few bucks less. June 16th 2025, on break from Courthouse jury duty selection. Walked to Tom’s. Ordered two regular size hotdogs, just ketchup, no chips, no drink. Place was not busy. Waited a long time (like I wasn’t sure I’d get my order before having to return to the courthouse). Hotdogs were not cooked through. Worst part, I was charged $12.
