“Summer Wood Cafe a new place in town we didn’t know existed for the past year. It was clean and welcoming. We ordered Lychee Lemon Tea, Cake Cream bubble tea, and Iced Thai tea and all agreed it was a thumbs up. We also ordered Dumplings as appetizers and later the Double Dragon Tempura Roll, Summer Sky Lobster Roll and Tempura J B Roll, and Hibachi Chicken Fried Rice and all of it was delicious! Not only was the staff super friendly but they even came out with birthday music in English, Cantonese, Spanish and French and even ice cream for our son, without us even asking. “Throughout my lifetime, being diagnosed with Crohns Disease I’ve always had a love hate relationship with food. Last year I had a flare up, got put on steroids, had a limited diet, and prescribed medication to control it. I new I needed to take control, introduce foods back into my diet, and learn how to keep my gut happy. I had the pleasure of meeting Angela through the gym we both go too, where she is highly recommended, and that’s where our journey began! With her help I learned how to understand the food I eat and how it effects my body. Angela didn’t restrict my eating habits but showed me how to introduce healthier things into my diet, giving me a happy gut. Teaching me which foods encourage a healthier lifestyle and healthier living, creating a sustainable lifestyle change to my eating habits. Not only did she help me with my nutrition, but also vitamins and minerals my body needed. Being a Crohns sufferer these are often areas we lack, and can’t always get from foods. She was very knowledgeable, making sure that anything she recommended didn’t interact with my medication. With Angela’s guidance I feel so much better, and am more in control of my health. I honestly believe I wouldn’t have learned everything I did without her, and am truly thankful for the guidance and advise she gave me. Angela is the utmost professional, has a touching compassion and is dedicated to her clients. I am thrilled she was able to work with me, and am thrilled with the healthy, happy gut outcome 😊“

I ordered the **Design a Bowl** so I could customize my açaí bowl exactly how I like it: creamy açaí topped with bananas, blueberries, pineapple, granola, chia seeds, hemp seeds, and almond slices, all served in a beautiful, oversized ice cream–style glass. The flavor was absolutely delicious — refreshing, wholesome, and satisfying.

The prices are very reasonable for such a generous, beautifully crafted, and healthy meal. The employees are friendly, welcoming, and clearly take pride in making amazing açaí bowls.

Next time, I’m excited to try their chopped salad and wraps — if I can resist ordering another bowl!“

I went in to get a smoothie and they got my order done quickly without any issues. The store was also super clean which is always a plus!! The empanadas were HUGE, fresh and made to order.
The Manager/owner was very friendly and patient with us.

“Fresh Kitchen got the food right! It’s fresh, flavorful and tastes homemade- this is rare for mass-prepped food. And the people are nice. However, I go to Bolay once per week and FK once per quarter. The portions are just so skimpy, I just don’t ever feel I got $20+ worth of food. Today, the server literally shook off the tongs until there was a pinch of spinach left to put in my container as a base and same sentiment for the kale, sprinkled the chickpeas dispensing less than half the scooper and put the rest back. Then, shook a few pieces of sweet potato off the top of the scooper…and put the rest back. It was like she was afraid to pour a scoop. I don’t eat poultry or red meat so I have to eat more food to get enough calories per meal. Fk meals are a snack before dinner. I would totally eat there at least once per week if I wouldn’t leave hungry. Another win for them…they shine like a diamond in the snack department. Also rare in the industry is a decent lower sugar vegan snack! The vegan chocolate chip cookies are ridiculously amazing! I buy 3 packs at a time every time. Sometimes I just go there for them alone!“

“Since Jamba Juice is one of my favorite smoothie places, I still try to maintain the balance of appreciating its corporate standardization efficiency while resenting its soulless capitalistic extraction - the recipes deliver! By that I mean, it's the similar deliciousness I expect from this brand, with a tasty Açai smoothie and the new herd-crusted mozerrella bites a suprising accompaniment! The service was a little brusque but kind enough, especially since he was tending to the store himself (definitely hire more staff and give them a raise!)! Interesting that it was in a mall, one that presents itself as a strip mall, which does contribute to detrimental automotive-focused urban design - especially being surrounded by impervious paving and vehicular circulatory areas and parking in what should be contributing to a denser, walkable, multi-modal environment.

All in all, this is a Jamba Juice you can trust.“
