PJ’s Sandwich Shop absolutely knocked it out of the park. I ordered the Deluxe, and when they handed it to me I honestly couldn’t believe the size of it — this thing was HUGE. Packed from end to end with fresh ingredients and stacked high, it felt like they didn’t cut any corners at all.
The flavor was incredible. Every bite was perfectly balanced — fresh bread, generous portions of meat, crisp toppings, and everything tasted high quality. You can tell they care about what they’re making. It wasn’t just big for the sake of being big — it was genuinely delicious. Super yummy, super satisfying, and one of those meals that actually leaves you full and happy.
The service was great too — friendly staff and quick turnaround. The whole experience just felt welcoming and worth it.
If you’re debating on what to order, get the Deluxe. You will not regret it. I’ll definitely be coming back again soon! 🥪🔥

Mistreated
I was mistreated at Pj’s sandwich on today 02/07/2026. Never acknowledged after entering overlooked and never acknowledged although other’s were being served including one patron entering after me but I was (never) acknowledged the only difference between myself and the other patrons was the color of my skin💔🙏🏿

Love this place .. hot roast beef with mushrooms or the Italian. One of the few family sub shops left. Been going here 25 years glad to to them still slammed busy. Stop in and get ya some. Cash only still i think but worth it. Run up to Publix and buy a pack of gum get 20 bucks cash back and spend your money on a real sub.

I went today for the first time in some years . The only thing they messed up was they forgot to press my sandwich, but I really don’t care. It was still wonderful.. the staff made the whole thing experience the best and customer . All the regular locals who comes suggested things the staff was very patient when I couldn’t make up my mind. I know the Italian was on point and next week. I’m gonna try to come again and get the deluxe or the Cuban. It didn’t even matter if the food was trash, which it wasn’t the whole entire team of people were just amazing and very helpful and very warm and very loving. There was outside cute dinning and indoor . I came like an hour before closing when they were shutting everything down and they were just as welcoming as if I would’ve came as the first customer. The portions were so big. The dressing was so wonderful. I don’t know why I haven’t came here before on the regular except for the fact they close early, but they need to be on DoorDash and go to events. They were wonderful.

I’ll be honest... I’m a little torn about leaving this review because this place is one of my hidden gems, and I don’t necessarily want it getting more crowded at lunch. That said, PJ’s absolutely deserves the recognition. The food is outstanding, the staff is always friendly, and the sandwiches are hands-down some of the best in town. No surprise they’ve been around for so long.
Highly recommend PJ’s if you want a great sandwich done right!

Hello new favorite sandwich place! Cash only, super fresh ingredients, and affordable prices. I ordered a small (8”) Italian sub, a large sweet tea, and chips and it came to about 15 bucks. I was full from the half sandwich but it was so good I finished the whole thing. I really liked the sweet tea - not too sweet so it was hydrating. I’ll be returning to try the Cuban but will come earlier as they were sold out when I visited on a Saturday around 1:30p.
Love coming to PJ's it always feels nostalgic coming here. Reminds you of the good ol days. FYI CASH ONLY!

Quaint old town sandwich shop. We had the best subs we have ever had here. The bread is so soft. Loaded with meat. Never going to get Publix subs again! Seriously so good!
