I was visiting from Canada and I recently had the pleasure of eating at Gulley's and I must say, it was a fantastic experience.The food was absolutely delicious and fresh. The owner was also incredibly friendly and attentive, making sure that my experience was nothing short of perfect.I highly recommend Gulley's to anyone looking for amazing fresh traditional food ?
If you've never been....you are missing out! My first visit was today...and I must admit....I met Ricky and it was indeed a "first class experience"! The menu is compact but versatile ( something for everyone..even burgers)...but seafood-fish is their jam. I tried the fresh catch fish tacos...hot off the grill... made to order... They were "awesome"- I am not kidding! I also shared some Gulleys homemade "Mullet spread" with crackers - this was outrageously good!...(try this!!)...read full review

I grew up in the area and have been eating smoked mullet for nearly 50 years. In the 1970's mullet were plentiful all along the coast and you could get it raw or cooked in several different ways everywhere you went, but the smoked was always a hit with me. As time went by the mullet schools shrank and it became harder and harder to find it in any form.
