Amazing Italians , honestly haven't tried anything else yet because this sandwich is just so delicious!!! Service is always on point and everyone is very nice !! It's hard to drive by without stopping and their bread is delivered fresh daily !!

Parrish is exploding so more and more nostalgic conversations lead to talks about supporting local. EVERYONE in Parrish talks about PJ's so I figured I'd give it a whirl. If I'm going to buy food from somewhere ideally both the experience and quality of food should be better than what I can do at home to justify the expense and time involved in getting whatever it is. I was in line to order. There is a girl behind me holding a puppy. Rightfully so, a woman rushed from the back to hold and love on this puppy. This woman was the one making the sandwiches. With a line almost out the door I became a little concerned about the amount of time being spent on this puppy instead of the backlog of orders that was building. She was getting in some good cuddles though. She eventually left the adorable pup and returned promptly to the kitchen and started making sandwiches. It's key to notice I didn't say she washed her hands then returned to the kitchen. She did no such thing. No hand washing. Back to work. After holding an animal and furthermore, a puppy who can carry all sorts of things at that age. I was turned off, but the romantic in me wanted to support local and really see how good these sandwiches must be. I could go to Publix and purchase a hoagie and make a sandwich superior to what I received. PJ's is one of those businesses that remain operating due to local support & the ideology of good local places. It's like bad breakfast joints near the beach that continue to be in business based on their location NOT food quality. As the area develops the allure and faithful patronage will fade away if nothing changes because there will be better quality food and experiences available. I'd hope they evolve as the area does, but it will require some change in my estimation.
