An unfortunate miss on this place. Just drove a block & my husband said he's still hungry ? I wish this was the only issue. They started out very well, I called 20 minutes before we were arriving just to check their holiday Sunday hours. They took my name & number for a reservation in exactly 20 min. We arrived & had to wait about 10 more min. No problem. Gotta wait for good food!We were in a little time crunch but it was manageable. We ordered within 6 minutes of sitting down.Downfall!!!Every single dish came out independent from the other. This is supposedly to make the hot dishes stay hot. At home, I don't boil the potatoes before baking the chicken. I think the restaurants should be able to do 1 table's food at a time. Old fashion perhaps so I'm not too upset by this. What was upsetting was having to ask for utensils to eat with. This was after the wings were eaten and several minutes after an omelet came out. By the way, skip the Waffellette. These waffles are from The Best Western Hotel, the kind you make yourself. Yuck! The million-dollar bacon was $1.99. First Watch Restaurant has the only Million Dollar Bacon. Give it a different name, please. The last & the most egregious part of our brunch was my dad never got a chance to eat at the restaurant with us. He ordered the oxtail & ackee. We waited, and waited, and waited...we ended up having to take his meal to go. Why? We were told it's because they ran out of potato hash. It happens but seriously you could have asked him if it was ok to substitute it for fries or grits or a different dish.We seriously hope these failures were because it was a busy Sunday. We won't go out of our way to return but maybe we will visit on a random day when all the other restaurants in the area are closed or if they all start serving only water.

In town for a day and we were looking for a breakfast spot. Ended up seeing this place in the plaza with no wait time so we decided to have brunch. Yal! Brunch was a whole vibe! Good food, 90s R&B, mimosas, and great customer service. The oxtail and ackee was banging I just wish they put more ackee on the plate. The lamb chops were tender and flavorful. My mother-in-law had the chicken and waffles and that chicken was juicy and full of flavor. My 6 yr old had the avocado toast. Everything was good including the St. Patty's mimosas. We will definitely come back the next time we are in town.

My wife and I love this place. We were greeted upon entering and had a short wait to be seated. The waitresses was outstanding she was very attentive. My wife had the shrimp and grits which she loved. We've eaten shrimp and grits at numerous parts of the country including New Orleans and these were right at the top of the lists. I had the catfish, it was cooked to perfection. It was seasoned just right and crisp but not hard. If you're looking for some place with great atmosphere, service and food Brandon's Bistro is the place.

Arrived at the restaurant at 4:15 pm on a Sunday. The waittress statedthat the restaurant was closed. I asked about the restaurant posting its operations hours till 5:00 pm. The waitresses responed back by saying the kitchen closed at 4:00 pm. Not a good experience!

"I recently dined at Brandon's Bistro located in Pembroke Pines on Hiatus and had a delightful experience. I took a few minutes prior to our visit to look thru the menu and read any recent reviews.Prior to Consistently mentioned in online reviews was the outstanding level of service, which I can attest to firsthand. We arrived promptly after the restaurant opened for dinner, a good decision as tables quickly filled up as the evening progressed. While we didn't have reservations, I highly recommend arriving early, as Brandon's Bistro tends to reach capacity during peak hours. Our waitress greeted us warmly and maintained a high level of attentiveness throughout our meal, providing excellent service. The food was exceptional. Brandon's Bistro prides itself on being a 100% scratch kitchen, so customers should expect a slightly longer wait for their dishes. However, the wait is worth it as the food arrives piping hot to your table. Our waitress ensured we were well taken care of, keeping us engaged with drinks and pleasant conversation. I advise enjoying cocktails leisurely, as they have a tendency to sneak up on you. My wife and I opted to share the Mac and Cheese (highly recommended!) as an appetizer. For dinner, I had the Oxtail (also recommended!) and my wife enjoyed the Free Range Half-Bird, which was equally satisfying and generously portioned. Our experience at Brandon's Bistro was exceptional, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to fellow food enthusiasts."

Food and service was excellent! Highly recommend. They do add a service charge. However, we were not aware until we went to pay.

I usually don’t give negative reviews but unfortunately for me the experience was not what I expected.Food is very pricey for what they offer in the menu…$30 for 2 sliced small French toast, decor with berries syrup? This ain’t the beach!!!Thank God, we only order water!I guess they charge for the way the food is presented?‍♀️“Art deco Plates”The Place is really small; tables are really close to each other that you can actually hear everyone’s personal conversation. If you’re not used to getting an extra charge on your bill of “Service charge” don’t go to this place; they should warn you before sitting you down.Get ready to get overcharged!!!
