Dory’s catering: Over and above expectations – Twice in a rowIn September 2023, for my brother’s 80th birthday, I’ve decided to throw a party for him at my place. Since all our family members and friends were invited, the biggest challenge was to find a top-notch catering company. I met with 4 highly recommended companies. All of them paid us a visit to understand the lay out (indoor and outdoor) of the house. At the end, I’ve selected Dory’s Catering represented by Mrs. Lourdes Valbrun.We have selected their silver package for 100 guests which included food, service, set-up, linens, silverware, flatware, glasses and charger plates. I only had to rent a couple of tables and 60 chairs.Words are not enough to express our complete satisfaction. From the beginning, her staff was on-time to set-up the tables, chairs, cushions, tablecloths etc.… Considering the venue and the occasion, Mrs. Valbrun upgraded several items such as the glassware and the silverware at no extra charge. The quality of the food was A1. As for the quantity, I think we had enough food for 150. Furthermore, she even brought some extra food in aluminum trays for us since she knew several guests were staying longer with us. At the end of the evening, her staff took the time to clean everything before they left. The professionalism of Dory’s Catering is unmatched in this business. Unanimously all our guests have praised Mrs. Valbrun and her team. She was present all night to ensure the highest level of coordination. She didn’t know about it but, I used to own a restaurant in Canada so, I know the challenges. I would give her 110 out of 100.I was so pleased that I retained her services again for my Christmas 2023 party. In fact, the food and service were just a repeat of the September performance.I would highly recommend this catering company.

Dory’s Catering served delicious Haitian/Caribbean food at the wedding. All our guests were satisfied and impressed. She also provided the linens and tableware which looked so gorgeous. Chef Lourdes and her team were very pleasant, professional and efficient. I was so happy with her attention to detail, the outstanding service and the yummy food.
