I’ve been coming to El Balcón de las Américas for a long time and it’s always been a great spot for solid colombian food, great service, and atmosphere. That said, I was a bit let down during my last visit today—the bandeja paisa just didn’t meet the usual standards I’ve come to expect from this place. The Egg and the arepa both overcooked not bigger than the palm of my hand, ( I was shocked) the beans taste like they came straight from a can ( w/o any flavor, or not flavor at all).
Hopefully, this was just an off day, because I know this place can do much better. I’ll definitely give it another shot.

Just went for a weekend family ..No very welcome...all servers don't look like happy to work there no smile then we hasking for a glass of water that take for ever to get until we asked like 3 person different..french fries no made french..(frozen one) not very professional chef if not cut and made by them..kids menu not enough choices for kids...
Soda no free refill coming in can so you pay for a other..nothing like free nuts or something for waiting on places

The best Colombian food in town!!! This food is even better than the one I eat in Colombia!! Portions are huge and flavor is the original 👌🏻 the service by Cynthia was amazing she took great care of us!

They let a non service dog inside the restaruant .
Well behave dog but they should not allow a non service dog inside the place i even told the host that was not correct she ignore my concern she pretend to be not well educated

Lunch specials offer tremendous value with large portions. I almost always have to take half my meal home in a container! Friendly service and delicious food!

Mara was the most excellent server. Her pleasant greeting and her thorough description of food was beyond exceptional!
Food came out quick. And scrumptious! We were also seranated by violin music.
