Been a few times and it's always good. Plus friendly service. Don't forget to get some baklava, it's really good!

I had the salmon platter it was ok salmon was well cooked rice was normal and peppers were grilled but nothing special average dish. Babaghanush was very different in a good way I'm used to having a different version of it, but not bad at all Fries are great tasting and bread was the best I've had because I love soft bread most places have flat thin bread, this was slight puffy. Afghan chicken pita was tender, clean and fresh tasting. May have to stop by for chicken and lamb kabob as they look delicious and may be their specialty.

Kaya's Mediterranean is a unique little restaurant. They have Turkish, Greek and Middle Eastern dishes. The food is cooked to order and always fresh. All of their meat is certified Halal. Service on both visits was genuinely warm. On the return visit the server remembered us and welcomed us back. They bring out a large bottle of chilled water while waiting for your order. The chef was born and raised in Afghanistan and has a family history from Uzbekistan. He has worked in the Middle East, Canada, New York and California. This must explain why the food is far from ordinary. The grilled chicken pita is excellent as is the gyro platter. The afghan salad is so good. It's diced cucumber, tomato, onion and parsley with a lemon vinegarette. The baklava looks amazing however I have managed to hold off on splurging on it both times. In the future I look forward to trying their grilled Calamari.

Pita sandwich was clean and healthy tasting. The server was very nice and gave me instructions on how to make Turkish coffee, which was phenomenal. The Baba Ganoush is not recommended. Seems like they use prepackaged peppers, maybe pickled, and has an odd taste - not roasted at all.Returned and will te turn. Again, Coffee was excellent.

The best Mediterranean food in all of Broward and may even say Miami Dade too. The falafel, the hummus, the pita, the spinach pie, and even the meat was beautiful quality. I’m a vegetarian but tried the meat off my companion’s plate and it made my mouth water. The presentation was lovely. As someone who has tried MANY Mediterranean restaurants, I’m really happy that I found this location. Please come to this location and have them rock your world just as they did with me.

This restaurant used to be one of our favorites to have real Mediterranean food , service was Friendly and enjoyable the food was amazing delicious, but since the new management the food quality is mediocre , you can taste cheap ingredients on it.The menu has been changed completely.I don’t recommend if you are looking for authentic Mediterranean food .

Fantastic Mediterranean & Turkish restaurant in the heart of east Pembroke Pines. A true small business and incredibly authentic. You can't go wrong with almost anything here. Unfortunately I never dined in, always picked up to-go (covid era) so I can vouch for the service. My food was always delicious and ready when I arrived. If you are vegan or vegetarian, Mediterranean food is super clutch and this spot is no exception.

This food was exceptional. It is not your typical Mediterranean food. The flavors were distinct and the preparation was like I never had before. I had the Afghan chicken kabob. It came with a chopped vegetable salad with parsley and a light vinaigrette. The rice was a thin type I’ve never had

This was the worst Mediterranean food I have ever consumed!Lentil sounds tasted burnt, watery consistency, no body. Nothing to savor at all..The baklava was 1× 1 in for 3 dollars. A bit size, nothing traditional about that....Representative declined to refund me of my monies?. She just refused....Never again will I go back to Kaka I mean Kayas Mediterranean resturant...no way....If you are Mediterranean lover and have a good pallet for flavor and know what authentic and great quality I Do Not recommend Kayas!

Food is consistently tasty and fresh. Lamb chops are always prepared perfectly. Hummus and pita favorite to start out with. Love this place recommend it to anybody who likes Mediterranean food you can't go wrong.

Pleasantly surprised how good the food is, because it was quite empty at prime dinner time on a Friday night. Lucky for us! Service was excellent, food fresh, served at the right temperature, and ample portion size. We had the stuffed zucchini appetizer, Greek salad with chicken, and the gyro entree.Looking forward to returning and tying other menu items in the future.

Very clean and comfy little place for Mediterranean food. Plenty of parking. I loved the feta cheese wrapped in phyllo dough appetizer. I had the falafel sandwich and my friend had the gyro platter. She said she liked constructing her food so it was perfect for her. We both came out super happy with both the lunch pricing and the portions and the food quality. Service was above average and dedicated. They are not open on Sunday or Monday so please keep that in mind. Owners are Turkish and can whip up some really tasty stuff. What a great little spot in Pembroke PInes off of the beaten path. Make sure to try their vinegar whipped sauce...so good. If this is your type of food, you're in for a treat.

This is an update to my review from 4 years ago. This little place continues to impress with high quality dishes and gourmet level flavor combinations. Everything they have in their menu is carefully prepared and always with high quality ingredients. One of the drawbacks they had in the past was the lack of alcohol drinks, but they now offer a few choices for beer and wine. All is good! I highly recommend this place if you are looking for quality Mediterranean food.
